I don't hate yankees fans and I certainly don't hate the yankees.I think the yankees are the most storied franchise ever and some of my favorite all time events happened for people in a yankee uniform.Like Ruth calling his shot.Gerighs luckiest man speech.The chase for 60 between Mantle and Maris.Berra jumping around like a monkey when Robinson stole home.
I think the only thing that irks me is people who feel the need to force their team or their fanship on you.I have no problem with any team because I like them all.I will go to astros games and my wife wears the opposing teams jersey.Of course we catch some flak for it but to tell you the truth...I am not sure why it bothers anyone so much.But you know how it goes...if you don't give anyone feul for a fire its almost as if they spontaeously combust just to start one.
The only thing I can say that I dislike about a few of the yankees fans I have met is they feel the need to belittle everyone else's team.Not all of them do but for the most part...a lot of them do.And they are also very super sensitve.You make a crack at the astros...I'd probably whole heardtedly agree.You make one about the yankees and I hope you brought your bullet proof vest with you.People get way too bent out of shape.
