If you want to carry a gun moved to a state that allows it and get you CCW. Don't think you can carry an illegally, unregistered, loaded firearm in a crowded place. Not to mention the club sells alcohol. He would have been comitting a crime in any state.

So you have no problem with someone going to jail for 2 years for a victimless crime?

a. Shooting yourself in the leg with an unlicensed gun.
b. Turning down a plea deal for one year of jail time, only to plead guilty months later and take a two year jail term?
i would have to take b. although they are both stupidflightposite said:What's more stupid...

What about drug dealers, there's no victims and they get sent to prison all the time.

Are you serious? How many people are killed during drug deals? How about neighborhoods where crack and drug houses are. Are the neighbors around that house with all of the drug deals going on not victims? How about the people that are robbed, beat, killed from junkies trying to get money to go buy drugs? Are they not victims either? I won't count the actual users/junkies but there have been many cases where they are considered the victim.
