Player Collection Pickup Thread.

It's about time I start one of these, instead of posting a new thread every time. I collect 4 baseball players. Glen Perkins, Dana Kiecker, Mike Kingery, and Jordan Smith (Indians prospect). I don't buy a ton of stuff anymore, but when I do I'll update this thread.

I'm interested in anything Kiecker, Kingery, and Smith. I'm only looking for a few Perkins items at the moment.

-Even though it's not in the greatest of shape, this oddball fits perfectly into my collection. I hope to have it framed.

-I've passed on every other wire photo of Kingery, mainly because they are too expensive. I had to have this since it documents a walk-off win, and it was somewhat cheaper than the other ones.

-This actually randomly showed up in a search, and the seller wasn't holding it hostage (it happens even with these types of players and this kind of stuff), so I had to have it right away. Not much else to say on it, other than I'm lucky to have spotted it.

They aren't the biggest players on the planet, but that makes the collecting more affordable and more fun. I also get a dose of late '80's through late '90s collecting.

Maybe later in the summer, I can scan up some of the other cards I have.

I made a little "stop" today, randomly. I had no clue this place existed until I saw the scoreboard out of the corner of my eye.

I took this photo. I only had my phone so I couldn't get any good shots, but wanted something. I plan to go back because it's a really beautiful, but simple ballpark.

Here is a photo from google. This was taken from the concessions deck. The lake doesn't wrap around to the outfield, but it's a great sight nonetheless.

Of course, I'm not really spending money on cards like I used too, but these are some of my favorite cards to chase. These are basically the only card in the Kiecker Collection that I'm actively pursing multiples of. My goal is to get the entire print run from the product, which I am well on my way to doing.

I don't add much to the Glen Perkins collection anymore. He rarely gets new cards, and I have most of his older stuff, and in many cases, 2 or 3 of it. I plan to continue the collection in my old-fashioned style once everything is scanned and cataloged. That being said, I still chase the rare stuff when it pops up.

This is the latest one on the way. My apologies, I take my photos directly from eBay and this is the only one in the listing.

I've hit my spending limit for a while, but if anyone has any 1/1s, keep me in mind. Feel free to PM as well.

I don't PC Kaat, but I got this from the same seller as the next two for just an added $1.50. I plan to hang onto it just in case we ever run into each other at TwinsFest or something.

Then this beauty. I have a couple of these already, but for $1.54, I'll take another. #'d/500

This one was a bit more spendy, but these rarely come up. As of now, Perk only has patches in 2007 Triple Threads. This one is #'d/25

I'll potentially have a couple more to share within the next couple of days, then I can't buy anything for a while.

A couple purchases...

I know there are mixed opinions on these, but I think they are unique (so long as the entire name is off). I payed way more than it's worth, but I didn't want to let it slip through.

It's actually Perk's second GU-only card. 2007 Turkey Red is the only other one.
