I love threads like these. Some people take this stuff so seriously. Comparing this to someone hurting a family member. That should be post of the year. If Ebay cared they would do something about it. I never said I was a shill bidder. I mean you already had a moderator come out and admit to shill bidding and having multiple ID's to give people negatives. I love this board but some of you act like cards are life or death. Put in your highest bid and move on. Card will show up again.

My solution is to use an auction sniper, put in the highest bid you're willing to pay.

Same thing BigRedmachine said. Put in your max bid, or snipe, that you are willing to pay and that's that. I agree with reporting known shillers, but I don't see the need to come here and start a thread over it. Report it if that's what you feel is needed, bid/don't bid and move on. No need to try and rally the troops.

But you see the point in the countless topics on: ?
* fantasy baseball
* Multi Heyward topics (as long he isnt Montero we can have 55 topic on him and not a peep, but then again he isnt a yankee)
* the I am getting out of the hobby topics which are really just another way to post transactions in the wrong forum.


But when a fellow collector is informing people on shady activity its uncalled for :lol: Is that you greatdealz? :lol:

I guess it's a simple matter of where shilling ranks on the list of importance to each individual. I certainly don't condone it, but I really don't care either. I have more important things to worry about in life and even in collecting then shilling.

Fair enough, we dont see eye to eye on this but personally I am glad there are topics like this informing people, otherwise if everyone kept their mouths shut people like shoeless would be running wild which apparently is ok to some of our members.
