Chris Benoit - Killed his family and then himself

Hurricane Carter - Accused of murder in 1966. Freed from prison in 1985.

Jimmy Johnson : The controversy because he brought a new in your face, trash talk, run the score up if you can't stop me coaching style to the NCAA and pissed off everyone who wasn't from Miami (including some NCAA programs that refused to play Miami anymore because they were ******* that couldn't handle the whooping)

Jose Canseco : A cheat and a rat

Jackie Robinson : Once the center of one of the biggest controversies in baseball - the color barrier

Shoeless Joe Jackson : The Black Sox scandal and the fact he may have been "innocent" is controversy enough, let alone the crook using his name on ebay that has conned thousands of dollars out of unsuspecting buyers

John Daly : If Happy Gilmore were real, he would most likely be the beer guzzling, ****** banging, pass out in front of a Hooters guy in the crazy looking clothes

Not a card. Not controversial. But the guy pulled out his and placed it on the shoulder in front of him. Pic taken, poster printed. Guy who pulled the prank later died of Aids. Or so I was told as I dont follow Nascar.

Controversial? Nah...but alot say this has a "slip" error and IMO it's a shadow.

Again, no controversy but a standard FF copycat.

UD produced this card without Henson's permission while he was still in college (against NCAA rules). UD stopped production on it. He refuses to autograph this card. Before and after college through the mail request.

Uecker posed as a LH hitter on purpose to fool the Topps photographers and was disappointed nobody noticed that he was a RH hitter.
