I knew there wouldn't be anything good at a show I went to over the weekend, I just went to "dumpster dive", so to speak. By that, I mean searching the bargain/cheap boxes.

In the past, I have purchased 8 Matt Moore chromes for .80 each (lost them, looks to be my first financial loss as a prospector..shame.), and 3 Starlin Castro Chromes from the same price (sold the castros for $21 total).

Anyway, here's what I got this weekend.
These three for $1 total (Beckett had them priced at .40 each, so...yeah).

And these two for $5 total. The Bauer is gradeable, I might grade it.

What are some of your lower-end, rummage-through-garbage-boxes buys?

Below is a card I bought out of a bargain bin. I bought this card in that bin ungraded for 10.00. It is a 50.00 BV card. I just could not leave it there considering its age plus the condition of the card not to mention it had Mickey Mantle on it as well. I figured I would get it graded even though it was OC. I sent it in with my 50 card/5.00 each submission. Lets just say I am very :D

So basically I have about 16.00 into it if you calculate in the shipping charges

Oh yeah the SMR BV on this in a 9 is 525.00. I figured with the OC it will take that value down but its still a nice card either way. If I ever sell it I will surely make some money off this one

I once bought 7 or 8 NFL jersey cards for about .50 each with no intent of flipping... I might flip most of them now.

Thats not that amazing lol. .50 is pretty basic for a jersey card

Aminors does that cole refractor have a weird bottom edge or just the scan? Either way good pick up.

Well, excuse me I guess...

I am not a prospector/profit person... I don't go looking through bargain bins looking for blue refractors of mid-level prospects to flip for profit. I look for PC strictly, and since these aren't PC anymore, I might make a buck or 2.

Got this one for 10 cents (actually, only spent $20 on the lot of like 200 cards and sold a jeter for $20, so I have nothing in this one.)

I love to go digging, but if you find a really good bunch of boxes you can spend virtually the whole show at one table.
