I'm not sure how Gurode made the Pro Bowl. He's screwed up more snaps this season than most centers have in a career. I'm happy to see perennial Pro Bowlers Witten and Ware made it, and so did McBriar and Ratliff. I'm a little sad that LaRod Stephens-Howling didn't make it. I think he really earned a spot. Hester is good and from The U, so at least it was him if LSH couldn't have the spot.

So what happens if your team is going to the super bowl?

Isn't the pro bowl played the week before the super bowl?

If a team's in the SB, then those players will not be in the Pro Bowl and reserves will take their spot.

I thought John Ryan might make it for the Seahawks...but no. Too bad the Bears are in the NFC because Leon Washington would have likely made it as a kick returner.

Here's hoping a Seahawk goes as a reserve.

Quite a few of the names are baffling. A few getting in on name alone as it cannot be performance related.

Gurode should not be starting in the Pro Bowl or even named to the team. He'll be lucky to be back w/ the Cowboys next season. He botched snaps, missed blocks, and played poorly much of the season.

How did Ray Lewis make the Pro Bowl? He's made a handful of plays this season and has not been that effective. Ngata is clearly the star of that defense.

Nice to see guys like Baban and Wake make the Pro Bowl after having slow starts to their careers.

Ratliff and J.Smith are unheralded players but defensive stars on terrible teams.

Witten, Ware, and McBriar were the few bright spots this season for Cowboys fans.

There could potentially be a lot of reserves playing.

Kind of sucks that the reserves are "on-call" until the week before the pro bowl to find out if you are playing or not.

No Chad Greenway?!?

Either way, these might as well be written in pencil.

Little disappointed not to see Vilma in there but as of the recent threads I'm glad Freeman didn't make it :D
