Ok, so my only venture as a prospector failed (pitchers ::facepalm:: )
Anyway, I have a stash of 2011 Rookie cards, some raw and some graded BGS 9.5 or better. For argument sakes lets say I own 5 BGS 9.5s and 5 Raw cards which have the potential of being BGS 9.5+/-. And lets say that the buy in was $10ea and the raw prices have since risen.

What would you do?

Way too ambiguous. Depends what the card is.

Some things to consider that should carry some weight on a decision like this:

1. Current price (does the profit margin make it worth selling now?)
2. Potential future price (a realistic expectation)
3. What kind of card? (this will influence potential future price, as a base auto of your player may cap at say $25, but a Blue Ref Auto may have a shot to be $100+)
4. Volatility of card (i.e., if you send to grade, could the cards drop to $5 before they are returned to you?)
5. What would a 9.5 grade do to price? Is the premium for a 9.5 great enough to make it worth grading?
