saying its a pop3, I imagine, the pack pulled are deckled and much harder to grade.

I don't think PSA cares about the legitimacy of the card they grade if they were actually made by the company. Counterfeits are one thing but backdoor tests, proofs, whatever you call them are fine.

I'd guess it's all of them combined if there isn't a separate line item for the "unreleased/proof" version.

Yeah, seems like the non-pack issue that never made it to the die cutter would naturally have sharper edges, making it easier to grade high since there aren't intricate cuts along the border.
