It is a foregone conclusion to me already. I am just waiting for the day the story hits the air. Not because I have any real investment, but because it reminds me of all those now extinct Barry Bonds supporters who used the "proof, where is the proof", card at any given opportunity to lend credence to obviously tarnished performances.
Look at the size of his cranium. Look at the body shape shifting. Look at the hair loss. Look at how a relatively unknown ball player burst onto the scene out of nowhere to become perhaps the best ball player of this generation with ZERO hype before he hit the majors. Look at how vigorously he defends his private life, in McGwire like fashion. Any one of these "signs" would be harmless independent of the others, but in conjunction they make a pretty solid base to speculate from.
Is it a lock? No, not at all. However, is it a good chance? I would say yes.
