For those who may remember the 2001 SPX RC Auto was a redemption found in a product called 2001 UPPER DECK ROOKIE UPDATE BB.
The redemption card was the actual card with a sticker placed ove the front of it, and yes, you guessed it, a HOLE punched in the bottom right.
There is a chance that this was a redemption card pulled AFTER the experation date, with a signature added later, after removing the sticker.
More unthinkable is that the nice people at Upper Deck may have kept the redemptions that were mailed in, keep in mind that this was BEFORE on-line redemptions, and there are some 1000+ cards somewhere.
Lets see if more and more cards with holes in them trickle out.
Just a tought as NOTHING seems to be trustworthy in this hobby today.
Nope. I pulled one of those redemptions and owned a few more, the hole was MUCH smaller.BigAppleJak said:I'm starting to REALLY dislike this "hobby"
