There is a scratch on the front left right above his arm, didn't see that before and on the back there is some kind of bleeding on the top left corner. I pulled this a while ago and just sleeved, cased, and put it in the box.
Think Topps would replace it?

This long after release.
I doubt it.
That's like trying to return a "lemon" you've had for a year and half back to the dealer.

I doubt they'd replace it...sucks that you get crappy condition on such a nice card, but it should still sell well.

Wouldn't hurt to try.

And it's not like he opened the box a year ago and got it. What would you do if you bought a never owned 2009 car today and the radio stopped working the first week you owned it?

Did you notice the color loss on the front left and right edges?

im 99.9% sure they will not replace it because i had the same experience

purchased 07 bcdp box last year and pulled a gold ref that was badly damaged so i contacted topps if it can be replaced and i distinctly remember topps saying no because the product was out for too long. think it was good for up to 6 months or 12 months after product is released can you request a replacement of the same said card IF they have it in stock

sorry dude. unfortunately, it happens all the time, pulling damaged cards after a product is released quite some time ago.

While it's likely you get this same treatment, you might as well try and contact them. Who knows, maybe you get lucky. But it's certainly worth a couple minutes to try, IMO.

Looks like light reflecting off of a penny sleeve.
Yeah its from the penny sleeve. I'm gonna just send it to them and see what happens, it's only a year or so after release. What month did this come out?

I'd call before sending. I highly doubt they'll replace it card for card, and I wouldn't even want to take that chance that they just send you something else. I'd rather have that than most anything they'd replace it with.

Everyone here knows that you asked way more than market on your Wheeler red auto(s?). I know they weren't damaged, but I'm not here to argue.

To the OP, give Topps a call tomorrow and see what they can do. Keep us updated.

Not at all. And you cant really ask over market on a red or a super. I got what I Wanted on both of them I got 300$ profit plus my 40$ from my gold. I'm pretty sure I got market value and what I wanted. kthanksbye
