I have a sample card from a 1957 non sport card. The set has four collectors completing it on the registry.

The sample card I have is not listed on any of the four registries. Its not listed, period.

Does it mean that it hasn't been graded yet or that according to psa, my card doesn't exist?

It might not be included in the set registry because it's a promo.

That said, if the card gets slabbed by PSA, you know you have four possible buyers...with perhaps an unknown hole in their collection.

Actually, I forgot to mention that there is a different sample card listed in the registry.

Psa only recognizes card listed in Beckett and The Standard Catalog. If your card isn't listed in either you will need to send scans to the editor of either publication and get it listed before Psa will recognize it.

I'm hofmichael and I approve this message.

Additionally, the cards listed in the set aren't always the complete list of eligible cards. For sets that grow, like player sets, you can request the card be added if it fits within the description of that set type. Assuming of course that it is also listed in the books HOFMichael mentioned.

There is a PSA registry board that has PSA employees participating, so you might post your question there. But sample cards are generally not listed as parts of a set, unless there's a distinction between "master" and "basic" sets, and even then they usually don't.
