I posted these questions in a lcs thread on blowout but no answers yet so i decided id start my own thread on here: I know the main rule is dont open an lcs store haha but these are questions i always wondered about if I was ever to think of doing so which i have

is it wise to order a case of every product you want to carry? or just single boxes of some and then cases of some etc? the reason i wonder that is since some products have case hits and what not, which is the better thing to do? also take into consideration there would also be an ebay store for our singles and boxes.

say youre a smaller market store that carries baseball, football and basketball boxes maybe the occasional hockey...how much does inventory run you a month?

Any type of figures would help. thank you!

Cases will come out to a cheaper alternative than buying boxes. Also, depending on the integrity of the owner/shop you can say the case hit was hit or not and charge accordingly.

I would be honest with my customers. but ya could charge accordingly thats true. Its more the start-up inventory costs that worries, obviusly as you go you can figure out supply and demand, just seems like the starting point is the hardest thing to figure,
