question regarding postage due???

got a notice on my door for an item I purchased on ebay for postage due for $7.56, ive had them before but all were under $1. so my question is what should I do here? I already sent the seller a message asking for the additional $$$ or a refund on the item for the amount owed. I guess im concerned if they refuse to pay the additional amount how do I go about it with ebay??? i dont want to refuse the package and have to wait all over again for the item.

Pay the postage due and you will get a refund from the seller or eBay. Save any receipt from your PO to scan as proof.

I got a quick reply from the seller and they are going to send me a partial refund, I will still save my receipt and the slip from the post office just in case... thanks
