That happens when anyone dies. I saw that Bobby Etheridge just died and his cards were already listed at higher than normal prices with "DECEASED" in the listing.

The truth is though, you can blame the buyers just as much, if not more, than the sellers because right after a death is announced, people are scooping up all of the lowest priced and BIN autos they can. Sometimes it is to try to beat the price spike because you never got around to buying that auto you always wanted, but in the end, the price always settles back eventually.

I refuse to look because it will hurt my fleeting faith n people but I bet listings of his autos went up quite a bit already

Sad to hear about this. I had to break out his qoutes book and read them again. Still funny after all these years. Great player and person. He will be missed. RIP Yogi.
