Nice pick up Lance. If it's the one I'm thinking of, the seller had it listed on and off for more than a year. It's definitely a unique piece.

Therion, I do have the Kile and he's yours. Just PM me your address.

Predatorkj, I collect Bagwell but not nearly as seriously as I do Biggio, just because I can't afford it. I settle for picking up what I see that really appeals to me. So I'm probably not big competition for you. Most of my Bagwells I would be willing to trade, but only for a comparable Biggio that I needed. But a few of my Bagwells are non-negotiable.

I checked the Galaxy and it's actually numbered "4 of 5". It just kind of threw me because I'm not used to seeing a card numbered that way, rather than "4/5". So I guess that would make this one the gold rainbow. By the way, that mark on the scan on the lower left corner is not on the card.

WOW - 48,800 views on this thread...
The first person to post an insert after 50,000, speak up for a free insert card..
I will give the below "prized collections" away to the first person to ask after they post an image of any insert after the 50,000th post.

Either way I am not complaining. Its nice to see more people collect him.I do pretty much what you do with Bags but with Biggio in my case.

technically this is a 2001 card. if there is another rare 00s inserts thread I'm missing, please excuse me. if anyone knows of any Galarraga collectors looking for this, lmk as I have no need for it. I think I acquired it from a cheap bin at a show many years ago, or maybe in a grab bag. I guess these aren't too rare as I see an A-rod on ebay /25 with a $45 BIN in a store and its probably been there a while

Well the original design is 1995 Bowman Silver Foil, but it looks like a chrome refractor reprint?
It is indeed the reprint. They reprinted them in 1998 and again in 2002. I believe this one is the 2002 refractor version.

So I was getting ready to bid on this card within the last few seconds.. my bid never went thru as the high bid vaulted over my bid I was putting in..

I was going to put an $85 bid on it as it was sitting at $62.. well it closed at $108.09 I guess if I ever see another one, I will need to up my bid.. :o

Not sure how rare these are, as sometimes the book value doesn't mean much. I picked these up for trade bait at a show a few years ago.

Made a post for these as well, but thought I'd show them off here too as I know these are cards that have been discussed here from time to time :)

Getting these truly made my day and put me at 91% for my EY collection right now for what I know/think I know should be out there!
