Not sure how rare these are, as sometimes the book value doesn't mean much. I picked these up for trade bait at a show a few years ago.

Those CD cards were great! I had a Piazza I believe.

They were slow as heck when they were running though!

Made a post for these as well, but thought I'd show them off here too as I know these are cards that have been discussed here from time to time :)

Indeed they have.

'98 Pinnacle Certified... yeah. <nodding> :)

And that '98 Studio Executive Sample - can't go wrong with that. I'm still hunting for my player. That's an easy drop-a-C-Note any time any day pick-up for me.

aprimo Loved those, wish I knew how to vid capture so that I could utilize my cpu's old cd bed drive. Can't imagine how one would make that work with modern players. But I'm far from a techie and have a feeling it would be pretty simple for someone with the right skill set.

numberonemetfan You've heard it before and I'm not knocking you when you're down - but you have get into a snipe program. I've heard good things about Gixen. <nod>

Getting these truly made my day and put me at 91% for my EY collection right now for what I know/think I know should be out there!

Where did you uncover the 1998 Certified Mirror Gold?
I sent a group of 1998 mirror red and golds in to PSA and they returned them with no grade, stating they will not slab them. I explained to them that they were released similar to the 1998 Totally Certified Platinum golds, which they do slab (yes I know the mirrors are much harder to find and less were printed). They still refused to slab them so I might need to see if BGS will grade them instead.

So I was getting ready to bid on this card within the last few seconds.. my bid never went thru as the high bid vaulted over my bid I was putting in..

I was going to put an $85 bid on it as it was sitting at $62.. well it closed at $108.09 I guess if I ever see another one, I will need to up my bid.. :o

Somebody must have been trying really hard to nail down that Edgar.I do that from time to time.Sometimes I get beaten on a card I really want and if another one pops up...you'd better get a small loan as I will go overboard for it.

Wildly enough a guy I buy from on occassion, *the-kurdelskis* I believe on Ebay had only one on his massive insert tradelist he sent me not too long ago and it was EY. He had two reds that were listed as Certified Legends Certified Red but I didnt inquire as I saw the EY Gold and the Studio ***/300 and got exicited to knock off a couple very rare cards. He has a massive tradelist but I think he's basically down now to trading for Griffeys he needs with his rarer cards. I cant remember his website, but I think i linked him in my blog post thanking him for what he sent my way on my EY page blog.

Knowing that there is most likely an EY somewhere, it has to stay on the list then. That Gold is actually the first new card I have had to add that wasnt on the Beckett list but I think thats mostly due to EY not being in nearly the amount of sets that most of the players here are that are collected

Do these grade well with PSA George? I just renewed my PSA subscription and was going to send this card as one of my free gradings.

George, Have you ever seen any blues? I picked this up awhile back for $27 and haven't seen any other players that I can recall.

That's Impressive! I might have to go for that. Sounds time consuming, yet cheap!

Seriously?!?! 89/90 that is awesome and very impressive. I think I'm at around 20ish. I'm curious, has anyone completed theirs?
