Did anyone here buy the 1998 Donruss Crusade Red Randy Johnson /25?I had a bid in and he cancelled it.

I was aiming for that one too... guess he doesnt know that those explode at last minute..

It probably exploded already, I think he took similar money w/o fees.

Wow with all the new crusade love some of these don't look as cool, but I thought that these cards could add to the 350+pages....

I would have easily paid that much for it. Those cards are damn attractive and being #/25 helps also.

Aww man, my claim to fame is demolished. I was doing web searches for Crusade prototypes, and found another collector that has 6 different Crusades for one player. He's got the full proto run and regular run of Will Clark. First time I've seen 6 different for one player besides Grace. There are probably others.

I'm going to write a blog tonight on Crusades. Will be trying to fill out the checklist for cards #131 and above as best as possible, and show scans of all prototypes when I can find them.

That pic is small, but I hope he has those in more than just a binder!

He sent me these photos. Pretty dang sweet - think there are a couple of Clark collectors on these boards that would like these. CTA card is #165.

Holy cow, I can't imagine what those would cost me to acquire. Never even seen a CTA of Clark. Great find!

OUCH on the Red. I'm afraid that's what will the Clark will be when/if it ever shows up.

If I had the cash right now...both of those would be mine. I've never even seen another red Rolen. And I've only ever seen one other purple show up. I'm hoping to one day find these in a large lot of Rolen cards that I keep buying at small shows here in Indiana.

Agreed, if you have a later chance to upgrade than you do so, but one in the hand, yada yada
