Its sucks being a young collector....no way I would have lost them If I had a job

My goal of getting all of beltrans pre 2000 cards hit a big roadblock yesterday.

Those were two great looking cards you missed out on. Look on the bright side, there are still 24 and 9 of each out there. At least you know where one of the cards is, that is always a plus if you decide to make an offer for it down the road.

The thing that really bugs me that I could have bought the sellers Beltran collection about a month ago but couldnt due to lack of funds...he wanted 200.00 for these plus a bunch of other rare Beltran cards including the sp auto/15

Compare to the regular Refractor:

I believe these were simply from an uncut sheet that was cut down, not really proofs.

Proof/uncut, its the same to me. It's an oddball and I'm happy with it :)[/quote:2m9rbqtk]

Is that proof larger than a normal card? I have a copy but it is slightly larger than a normal card.

I also have a card marked refractor without the refractor foil...this one is the same size as a normal that was listed as a 'proof'.

When I put my regular copy next to it, the card is the same size minus the obvious extra border, like it being uncut. If I cut it I bet it's the exact same size. Not going to happen though :)

I still have this one, if you're interested...

Actually the beltran will be available once I find the international. I prefer the international, but had to "settle" for the gold (grin). I have the crawford international already.

If you have the international and another nice beltran, i would trade. Do you have the international?

Gonna have to scan mine..I bet I have a good 1/4-1/2 inch on all sides in terms of size. Sure I could 'size' it down but like you i have no desire.

I don't remember seeing a post about these. 1996 Zenith Diamond Club, with an actual diamond chip. 1:350 packs.

Yeah...they were up a while back.I know somewhere I have a post of mine. These things cut the penny sleeve to shreds if your not careful. It took me 3 tries to get it in a penny sleeve without murdering the soft plastic.

Well that's the thing, I don't have the funds currently for it and if I did offer and it was accepted, I'd be in trouble. I prefer to bid when I have the money :)
