I hope these metal sig cards are going to be very short printed. This is going to be annoying if they are anywhere close to the print run of the regular signature series.

After seeing that the metal card autos is the same as the regular sig series, the value of the previous product should take a hit i would guess.

i thought the gold autos were /25 and the blues were /50 or something

I know those are the PR for the regular metal cards, not sure if PR for the autos were released.

Yea, that "discussion" must have been before I had access to the razor forum

But the point is, they are on card, they look nice ,and they are top prospects.

They will still sell, even for a LOT even thought the design is the same =]

No doubt they will sell. They are autographs and chrome
Somthing to consider is how will it impact those that invested in base Sig Series thinking they would be nice cards to own as well (exclusive, 2008,etc)

i have no doubts the metal autos will sell, will the regular non metal ones still sell is the question. I hope to god the metal auto print runs are super limited. and also is every auto card featured in metal too? Like are all the dual autos in regular sig series going to be in metal? are the exclusive version of the autos going to be metal? Will all players in regular sig series have metal auto cards? How many variations of metal autos will there be? These are all big questions.

Anyone think the gold one on top may be a 1/1, the rest of the stack looks blueish. Guess their could be more, just didn't make it into this picture.

Cards look VERY nice, still doesn't change my feelings on the chrome vs. the base sig series, as far as I wish they weren't issued but these sure look good!

I agree with you Phil.

I believe the Sig Series parallels will hold good value, but the base autos and exclusives (minus Lawrie) will take a hit. Having the Parallels at /199, /25, and /5 make them easier sellers and gainers later on, even with the metal autos available.

I can't see the Lawrie Sig Series auto taking a huge hit, based on the total numbers available from the set. We are looking at >1000 total from Sig Series for him, against the rest of the crop.

Very nice looking. Is the blue background what's staying on the card or is that a protective cover before Tim signs??? When do these badboys go live???

how would you feel about these cards if they were encased in one touch holders and sealed, then distributed as "uncirculated" cards much like 05 green refractors?

Uncirculated would be nice, but how would they be distributed?

It seems rather pointless. "Uncirculated" autograph cards have never made much sense to me since they are handled by the player as they are being signed and can be damaged during that process.

I think sending these badboys out in one touch holders would add security in the shipping process but there would be no need to call them uncirculated as they were never in "true pack" circulation anyway.

from a marketing standpoint, i think they would be better recieved as uncirculated cards.

I would like this A LOT if they could package them correctly.

The only Razor cards I have are black's out of 199 and a Lawrie so I haven't been too upset about these. I do feel bad for the people who have a lot.

As long as the cards are well packaged/protected, it doesn't really make a big difference either way to me.

It's a gimmick that most people would see right through.
