So I'm finding dozns of slabs on my floor cleaning up that I had thought were listed in my 2014bestservice feeBay store but apparently were not. So I'm on Day 3 of pic taking and listing which is why I haven't posted much lately. Many were one where the scanner just didn't like the card- basically any foil item . Scanners hate foil especially silver. Shows up on even great scanners as a dull finish. Using my phone and stand to do it instead .Also acetate cards are a bear as well to scan.

Below are some I listed already- more to follow. Yes I know they are football but baseball is slow right now and Super Bowl is almost up so football slabs it is. I'll have more baseball coming shortly anyways

Apology on big pics my phone just does what it wants. Mostly Peyton Manning but I did come across others
Loving two of them as the Absolute and Hogg Heaven have Manning, Marvin Harrison and Edgerrin James- all Hall of Famers !! Even with my phone the Elite Greens don't show as nice as the eye sees them. The Spellbound series is a great way to do Nameplates on the cheap as opposed to expensive Auto / Jersey pieces. many people chose to do it that way

The Target Sapphire are a bear- this is one of 3 highest graded. Distribution methods really kill high grades on them

Foil just doesn't agree with my high end scanner. Honestly don't think many scanners like it at all. Each of these sets has severe difficulties due to either distribution, surfaces, or high interest. I doubt the Quantum Leaf will be matched for a while. The Quantum set is horrible for surfaces- was lucky to get a PSA 9 on one ( Star Factor) and a PSA 10 on the other ( Touchdown Club). There may be 2000 printed but they suck with most having pits on surfaces that drag grades down. Think I went through 100's of cards and picked just 5 or 6 out of them in the box I opened years ago. The PSA 10 is a Pop 1 and likely to remain that way for a while. The other has just 6 PSA 9 and only 2 Gems.

The Leaf Rookies and Stars and Playoff NFL Playoffs- same deal on foiling and add corner headaches
All in all was happy when I got these back way way back

One drawback is the last card, which sat on the floor for a LONG time awaiting pic taking
I immediatey realized its a mislabel- oh well gotta put that one in for correction

I had to give away my old high end scanner when Windows gave me the old finger when it upgraded to Windows10.

So now I use a light box and take pics of my cards. The light reflecting really helps.

Kevin what do those light boxes run if you don't mind me asking ?

So I worked all through last night scanning and listing in my 2014bestservice eBay store and I'm exhausted . Made some sales and made my rent. Now if I can just get my car and cable bills paid by the 5th due dates I will breathe easier

More slabs that were sitting on the floor here in my living room- starting to see carpet I haven't seen in 10+ years
Bunch of Bagwells from my PSA 1999 Finest Registry. One didnt even make an hour listed- went like lightning !
I recognized our resident Bagwell supercollector Daniel @timtom 's name immediately
Thanks for the help its appreciated !! The 1996 Bowmans Best refractor with Thomas and Helton got snatched by someone else. But hey I have more of his Finest stuff probably on my floor so stay tuned

The four I listed early at around 3 am below. All with low PSA pops after all these years
Red sold within 15 minutes to @timtom

Milestone Refractor is a Pop 5
The Peel and Reveal Sparkle is a Pop 2
The Team Finest Blue is a Pop 3
The Team Finest Red is a Pop 1

The light box I bought on EBAY for around $30. I'm on my 3rd or 4th light box. I originally started with a the cheap ones ($10) and the connection to the light would fail after awhile.

So I decided to get this one since it seemed a little more sturdier and so far it has been.

You can take pictures using it normal with the card on a stand inside, but lately I have been putting it on it's back to take the pics of the cards.

The first image of the Edgar Certified I took together standing up like normal (1st pic). Then I changed the orientation of the light box (2nd pic) to take the pics of the cards individually.
I've been taking the pics with my phone and then I e-mailed them to myself. Sometimes I edit them on my phone, and sometimes I have been using photoshop to show the image and to scale them down.

After awhile you will use it the best for you.

@Pinbreaker thanks Keving I'll check it out ( when I get a job again will buy one)

Had to break from feebay scanning and listing to make the insurance woman happy with some new updated scans
At the same time I got lucky as they were on the floor in the pile I am attacking for the first time in years
Thnk I am making "some" progress as there can actually see the carpet in a foot wide space

These come from the 1998 LEAF base set, which had some of its cards mixed in from across the product lines
Hence the same card # but multiple poses showing which can be confusing if someones not familiar with the sets

Info about the set is 1998 LEAF BASEBALL

Many of the base cards below ( 6 of them I believe) came back last year as I topped off some tax return subs with them. Normally wouldn't send in base cards yet. Just updating the photos. The dupe is going on feebay
The Die Cut I bought on COMC- didnt have any condition notes. looked good when it got here so I didnt look at it
Came back I realized the bottom was crimped. I have another buried somewhere just didn't look for it last year was in a rush

While I was at it these are from the same set ( and on the floor as well) so I scanned them and updated her
I've had the Sample above and these Heading for the Halls for years slabbed
Dupe is going on feebay when I get that far- keeping the true Gem here
Must have moved them to the floor when these came back. they were covered in dust

More floor items finally being scanned. Top offs again on orders from years ago
I usually put base cards as fillers on top or bottom so condition wise what was in the middle would stand a better chance; There were 5 base examples and a few Mislabeled refractor like finishes from the 1998 Topps Tek series

Info about the series is 1998 TOPPS TEK BASEBALL

These two came back and need correction ( hence the floor probably) as they are missing the cross hatch pattern we'd expect on diffractors. While they are brighter than the usual Tek cards , it's probably due to being pack fresh pulls. Back they will go with my mislabeled Ticket Masters Die Cut from earlier last year so all 3 get labels fixed

Bunch more from the floor scanned and being listed soon. The Bagwell I pulled from a box I broke here years ago and sent in. Used to registry build that set when the registry was stronger and more used. The Carlton Fisks- same deal. Used to build a Fisk registry. The SP Legendary Cuts Dual with Morgans not seen often- and its Morgans uniform #. Honestly love the All-Time Fan Favorites series. All going in my feebay 2014bestservice store

More of the pesky 2007 Playoff NFL Playoff items with foil surfaces found on the floor, these all for Drew Brees.
While I am seeing snatches of carpet I just cannot believe how much stuff is on this floor right by me- it's unreal
Small piles that I looked at daily suddenly have twenty cards beneath them- add em up and there's several hundred slabs

Newest grouping of floor stuff that was there due to needing the camera I just put on the ground and forgot and gathered dust. Foil surfaces that my scanner just doesn't show properly so the phone it is once again. As you can tell did all the great QB first. Think the other group I did from this series were all Blacvk Metalized Cowboys since I know hundreds of Cowboys collectors. Think I didnt notice how the numbers reversed on the PSA 8 and PSA 9 Gold Metalized til now - kinda funny !!

More floor cleanup finally being addressed. Starting to see another 6 inch square of carpet.
These are all from the 1997 Finest set- all Pop 1 or 2 Gems with the Langston a Pop 1 just 1 above it
I could have posted in the 90's thread but have other stuff in line for that thread
Took me a few days to get them scanned and listed due to doc appointments and errands
Went into my 2014bestservice feebay store. Unlike prior years these had no protectors on them
Makes it harder surface wise to get Gems. Harder series to Gem than many years Finest stuff

More to follow I have packages to mail out , but I am attacking my floor slabs with a vengeance

More scans of the tough to picture properly items buried under dust on my floor
Think I still have to locate my entire 3000 ct box of early 2000's show stamped items. Havent seen it yet here or when I visit my Utah unit. Sold a few to pay medical bills, but I do know I have tons still buried and when I find I slab them now

These are all Pop 1 items at the moment even 10 years later
Going to be listing in my 2014bestservice feebay store soon just got done with picture taking
