The 4th inning was the begining of the end for the Reds. That coupled with bad GM moves; adding a 40 yr old outfielder and optioning your hottest pitchers can't actually improve a team, can it?

West coast trip will be interesting. Don't like the 6 outfielder mix. Edmonds hasn't done a thing yet, but I do expect him to have some big games down the strech.

REDS ROSTER is so wacked now. With 3 back up outfielders and just one back up infielder.
I wonder who is odd man out once some of DL guys are ready.
You know when you have 6, it just screams you don't have 3 reliable guys in of. Stubbs is so hot and cold and k's way too much. Bruce is proving he just average MLB, not the star many thought. Heissy does a little of everything. Gomes can hit but is horrible in the field. Nix is Nix, nothing special but not bad. Edmonds has been a bust, but it's early and Walt ain't going to cut him this early in his Reds run. Still mazes me how well they have done with such a circus in outfield.

Bruce 4 hits last night. If he catches fire now watch out. No stopping the Reds! Also read that Dusty Baker is going to get an extension offer. When I lived in Cincy market past couple years, Reds fans just hated this guy to no end. Has to be bittersweet for them.

Yeah, I hate idea of extension now. Wait till off season and see how he handles this team in stretch run and playoffs if they make it.
