(just like A_Phole is saying).

Please, go on. You're making your issuance of the term "petty" so much more impactful and meaningful.

P.S.

Reused mailer = Free.
Toploader and penny sleeve: ~$.11
Shipping ~$1

Total: ~$1.11

Shipping charged: $3.50
Actual shipping: $1.11

Difference: $2.39

If a card costs $.99, I have no problem paying $4.49 for the card to get to me. I do have a problem with a seller turning a $.99 card into a $3.38 card. You wan to use a reused bubble mailer? Charge me ~$1.11 shipping for a total of $2.20. Your cost is STILL covered, and I get the card for the price of the card. That way, you still get to save the earth, Captain Planet, and you keep a perfect 5-star rating.

Oh... and while it's "just a few cents". Being overcharged on actual shipping by over $2.00 is a 200% difference.

Edit: This may also get your goat - if a seller doesn't offer combined shipping (I ask if it's not in the listing), I send them a request to please make sure that each item I buy from them is separately shipped. If I pay two different S&H charges I expect 2 shipments.

The seller has the full option to refuse, and I don't bid.

Mind you - I've had this happen maybe 2 times over the years.

I'm not sure what you don't understand. This discussion is about bubble mailers, not overall "overcharged S&H fees". You can buy bubble mailers for $.08, so that's only $.08 that you are so unjustly being "overcharged", not $2.

Petty.

I don't get the point you are trying to make then. Are you trying to say that sellers are overcharging even for new mailers? If that's the case, then you should be praising me for saying I'd agree to pay $3.50 as long as it's a new mailer.

I think you're a few fries short of a happy meal, man. I'm 100% serious.

How do you know that the sellers who send you a used bubble mailer didn't previously "pay $3 shipping" for it through another transaction on eBay? Why would you assume that they got it for free?

Interesting point, but I'm sure it won't fly with Adam, lol

I'm not the one complaining and dinging sellers' stars over petty BS.

Adam; I see what you are saying and agree.......however some of us bid like SCT and Phily. If you bid like us it does not really matter because we have factored shipping into the price. Passing on cost to me in mox-nix since I have set my max price and if I win I am happy regardless of mailer......PWE is a different story imho.

For every card? I ship 60-75% of my cards in PWE. I only do it for cards under $5 though.

I actually already replied. Get with the program! But, in all seriousness, them getting overcharged for it makes it ok for me to get overcharged? I mean, I know what you THINK he's saying... but if it were new from the seller he got it from - then he got what he paid for. In that case - that cost has already been acounted for. At that point, the mailer is no longer new and no longer justifies the charge. This is craazzzyyyy.

I also expect a check from Gilmore for these impressions. If no, I'm giving the site 4 stars.

It seems like what's going on here is more you not giving a crap about the environment and being picky about getting new bubble mailers. You probably throw all those new bubble mailers right into the trash too, huh. "I wanna pay my money to fill up that landfill with plastic!"

You took a step backwards with this point.

Honestly, with the way the Post Office is increasingly attempting to stifle small time internet sellers by charging an arm and a leg for shipping small, cheap items, PWEs will eventually be the norm in this hobby. I don't care when I get them and will probably have to use them eventually with cards under $5. How can they justify charging almost $2 for a BM for a card you sold for a couple dollars. It's getting ridiculous. I am actually FORCED to ship PWEs to Canada now on cheap items because they raised the price to over $3 for a bubble mailer to Canada. What if you sell a card for $5? You are expected to pay $3 for the shipping? lol After eBay and PayPal fees, you would probably LOSE money on the sale.

If shipping is free I am fine with this.

it's funny, because I think if EVERYONE here (myself included) could relay what they are trying to say in a 100% clear way to EVERYONE else.. we'd all realize we are right in our own way.
But this is the internet, and that can never happen. It would break the web.

SCT, however, is wrong.

Hahahaha, I haven't heard that one in a while. I literally laughed out loud. But Adam, don't buy any of my stuff, you won't like me. I'm all out elephant anal cavities thought. I used my last one to ship a few Cardinals cards to GC.

lol Sure buddy. I'm only wrong because you "don't like me" because you are a petty human being who has proven so time and time again. Grow up.

You guys are bitching at warp speed and I'm taking care of a sick 4 year old. It's hard for me to keep up.
