Markakis: It's not like I give EVERYONE less than 5-stars. A lot of this discussion acts as though thought processes are strictly linear. I take into account many things when giving feedback/DSRs. Does that mean I spend all of my day calculating, pondering calling Miss Cleo? No - seriously it all takes less than a second. It's actaully really freaking easy to justify S&H, just don't get crazy! I've already said it.. $2 and I'm fine with a reused mailer. $1.50 more? Come on, man.
Besides, if you have something I really want then there's nothing you can do. I'll bribe another MTer to buy from you on my behalf and have them give you 5 stars or excellent service!

A lot of things I say on this board are tongue-in-cheek. People take everything so seriously though. I don't even have a problem with A_Pharis, yet he has me on ignore. lol Some people take message boards WAY too seriously.

I'm all for that! Of course, you are taking into account OPTIONAL CONTENT - including DC, etc. We;re not talking about that. We're talking about relating actual cost to cost of reusing crap. My problem is with being charged $3+ for used crap when NUMEROUS HUGE SELLERS do the same thing for Free.
I can see th enext reply "But big sellers make up the cost over tons of sales". And? Small fish - big pond? If you don't like the way I issue DSR's then I am sorry that my own personal point of view on that particular subject is so earth shattering to you. Once, again... my eBay username is in my profile to the left.
If you are a seller who ships quick and has S&H that reflects the effort I feel you put into serving your customers then you'll receive all 5's from me.
If you are a seller that hates eBay - saying they are robbing you.. meanwhile, you squeeze a little extra profit from your buyers (no matter how little the extra) - but continue to use ebay.... then I'm sorry, but if you skimp on shipping with me then you may get a 4 star shipping cost DSR.

btw, vwnut... your prices and SCT don't correspond. I'm going to need some accuracy checks before I get down to hitting that BIN. Some of the costs are exclusive, too. Like - you put the charge at the PO for First Class w/ DC but you also include charges associated with doing postage at home. Are you buying bulk? Do you do large shipments? These are all VITAL questions.

I don't know what I'm doing wrong, but it's on page 7 for me.
Also, people are arguing one persons opinion on if something is reasonable or very reasonable. A lot of the arguments seem like "well, what if the seller had aliens deliver the package to your doorstep for free but it was in a reused mailer? Would you give four (gasp) stars instead of five stars?"

For as adamant about not reusing bubble mailers as apharis (and just maybe one or two others are)...anyone rethinking the way they ship or leave feedback?
