Great haul, it's nice to pick up a lot of wants at once. What's the card in the 2nd row from the top, 3rd from the right (A's jersey, arms raised)? Is there something on the back? That's the only one that I think I don't have, and that I don't recognize.

:confused:Which bat barrell are you talking about? If you are thinking the Tier One, that wasn't me!

Neil it may have been you that outbid me and won.

Edit: it was you. The bat barrel. Just curious as to who won what. No way I was winning it.

Somewhere I have the photo cell that was used to make this card. I didn't look extensively today, but not sure what I did with it. I know it's somewhere. My plan is to blow this into a 8x10 or whatever looks the best and frame it with the card and cell.

End of Summer Catch-Up

Hello boys! Sorry I haven't posted in a while. These infants take up a large amount of any free time I used to have. Who knew? So, to make up for lost time, I'll try and cover a whole bunch of info all in one post!

Welcome Jason. I have the following cards from your wantlist:

  • 1999 Bowman Chrome International Refractors #223 Rickey Henderson /100
  • 1999 Finest Refractors #159 Rickey Henderson
  • 1999 Topps Chrome Refractors #277 Rickey Henderson
  • 2000 Topps Chrome Refractors #104 Rickey Henderson

I'd much rather trade than sell. Even though one of my recent tirade posts was how I was going to sell my 1/1s cuz the going prices on ebay are ridiculous right now. I haven't gotten around to posting them, but I'm gonna do it. I swear. Someday. Anyway, PM me a list of doubles that you have or other Rickeys for trade.

Brian, that Rickey Room is awesome. Very cool. I wish I could do the same.

Just throwing this out there: I am closing in on 4000 different Rickeys (I'm at 3934), and 7700 total items. Milestones.

Name = Screen Name
Scott = Leffer
...when put up against all of your screen names, I realize how lame I am :-o

I am not on Facebook, nor do I have plans to get on there anytime soon. So I guess I'll miss out on Rickey freebies. :(

Ryan, you never PM'd me with your address. I have two Jason Jennings rookies to send you.

QUESTION: I know you all probably know about the 1990 Keith Murray Serigraph (938 made). It originally sold in stores for like $200, but they've been available on ebay. David Eich's site has a good advertising sheet that explains the piece. But I recently picked up on ebay what appears to be an Artists Proof edition which has "AP/52" hand penciled in the lower left corner (instead of ###/938). Does anybody know how many were in the Artist Proof series? How many did he sign with the "AP"?

And finally here's my little girl...she'll turn 1 year old on Friday. Where has the time gone? She's got crazy hair, but is a cutie.

Get what?

Someone posted a 1977 Chong on eBay for $1,999. Love to have one, but at that price, it's just not in the cards. It does come with the complete set, including the Chong header card, which is always a nice bonus.

I realize my username is very similar to ManOfSteal's, sorry about that. I use it for everything, eBay, Youtube, Beckett etc so i didn't even think twice about it. I look forward to talking with all of you and seeing more of your awesome Rickey collections.

Welcome Jason, I somehow missed this post last week. I think there's room for more than one ManOfSteal around here.

Now, if you said you collect serial #24/ cards, then you might have been in trouble ;)

It's not graded though, right? I got an email on my phone, and from what I could tell it is not graded. I don't understand how in this day and age somebody could sell such a gem ungraded, and it makes me feel sketchy about it. I mean, I WAS about to go grab a job or two, maybe take out a second mortgage, you know.............

AMEN BROTHER!!! And good looking out! ;)

I really am sorry you guys, for not making trades with you all. It's been a rough few months.

Did I tell you guys how my wife washed my "fob"? Yeah, I've had this real nice Accord out here in the forest all week, and the security system is armed, and there is no way to disarm it. Love my life!! :D But manoman do I need a job, it's really starting to stress everybody out. Even me. Except for when I'm busy watching a 3 year old. Which is almost always, day and night. Le sigh.

Hey Scott, thanks for showing some pics of your kid. Better late than never, right? :lol: What a cutie, you should post more pics! Because then I feel like I have an excuse to post a pic on the rare occasion when I take a pic of my kid. Here's one from somewhat recently, like... 2 hours ago. :D

Here is the pic I tried to show the other day. I guess the internet speed comes and goes out here, and when it's running slow I can't do much.

Here's another awesome pic from last week:

Oh yeah, I'm watching it, no chance to buy, just want to see if anyone buys. I wasn't thinking of this when I asked "get what". One day I will own this card, even if for only one day.

Saw it sold for $925. Anyone else have trouble locating cards they are pretty sure they have, but not able to find them? Maybe I just need a better organization setup. My original goal years ago was to have every card in a snaptite or 1 screw. Now I think some could just use a toploader with penny sleeve. What would be the best 5000ct box? If I did the box method, I could sort by year and easily retreive cards to verify if I have them or not.

Wow, that Chong looks identical to mine - kind of scary! And I'm stunned this only went for $925 - to me, that is a HUGE deal.

Is anybody interested in the below 2003 Leaf Limited "Player Threads" Henderson #3/5? If so, send me an offer.
