So I got to thinking about the Donruss INC and INC. variations from different years. Did the 1990 Learning Series and Best of Baseball cards have these as well?

2001 DONRUSS SIGNATURE SERIES AWARD WINNING SIGNATURES

Anyone got more info on this card (ebay #160896435466)? I've never seen it before and its not listed in Beckett (at least not in the list I have). Does anyone know how many were made? Was this a proof card? Was it inserted in packs, or a made-for-a-card-show card (like Chicago or Hawaii)?

If I recall, there were a couple of unreleased cards from 2001 Donruss that were sold about 2-3 years ago. I think this was purchased then, and signed after the fact. I'm pretty sure that it was never released in a signed form.

I agree too, I remember blank ones popping up and the seller said they were from the factory or something like that

GOOD MEMORY. I dug through my pictures archive, and found a pic of the unsigned version:

..and 1990 Keith Murray Serigraph Artists Proof (artist signed in pencil and hand numbered) (24" x 34 1/2"). I actually now own TWO of these, so let me knwo if anyone wants one in trade. This is the Artists Proof different than the original which are numbered #/938.

Hi guys!

Is anybody entering the RH24 Fan Club logo contest? Here is one of my submissions...

rickeygraphic-final.jpg

If it's just me against a bunch of Facebook strangers, I would ask you guys to vote for me. If somebody else is entering, I guess, I'd ask that you pick the one you like best. ;) The contest hasn't started yet, I'm not sure when it will, but I'll put up a link.

Any input on the logo is appreciated, even if it's constructive criticism....

Nice logo, I like all the Rickey fans up front. I was attempting to make one, but failed miserably. No graphic design skills at all unfortunately...you may try making the #24 in the same font as an A's jersey. Just a thought!

Here's a technical opinion...

Those people on the bottom look a little scary only because some of the hands are "cupped". (Specifically the one on the far left). It makes them look as if they're wanting to get a piece of Henderson, sort of zombie-esque. Instead of cupping some of those hands, make those wide open, and in my opinion, the fans at the bottom won't look like they're stalking him. Just a thought.

Otherwise, I like it.

The font on the 24 is a good idea, I don't know why I didn't think of that earlier. I wonder if I have time to change it? I'll ask Walt...

As for the cupped hands, I honestly don't know what's up with that. I had a pic of some fans that I wanted to incorporate, and one of their hands are like that. It's more like claws in the real picture, like they are going to scratch Rickey. I don't know if I could really change the hands... it would be harder than stealing Rickey's base was!

What are you trying to say about me, I mean the guy on the left?

Don't forget to get permission from MLB for using the images and logos :). If Leaf has to so do you.

The jerseys should read. Cohan, Eich, Lundy, Abbott, Ball, Neil M., Grove & Corser. We are the founders right? Who am I missing?
