So I'll actually have a mail day coming. I won 6 cards from 2010-2011. Nothing big, but all ones I didn't have. I'll snap a picture of them as well as the only other 2 cards I've purchased in awhile.

Not best pic, but it's all I have. Select AP from Eddie - $10. O'Connell from eBay - $3. 91 7-11 Disc (RL) from eBay - $1.50. Topps cards eBay $3.50. 80 & 81 CYMTO, 84 60 Years, Lineage with Crawford and Upton and Duos with Jennings. Notice all 3 are from Rays? Looking for Original backs of the CYMTO as well.

Came upon these two Rickey's last week and threw them up on ebay (ending this Wednesday).

Have gotten some interest but feel that no one else knows about this. Any of you guys shed some light on it?


I listed it as a "1999 Fleer E-X Rickey Henderson Purple Error Variation"....not knowing what else to describe it as.

it's probably some chemical thing with the acetate (i think that's what it is called) making the colors different. It's like a topps card that has a little more ink on it.

Wow, I lose my internet for 2 weeks, and big things happen here. First, and foremost, CONGRATULATIONS Scott Leff! She is a beauty! Looks like Ryan's little Renee has some company on the boards now. All this cuteness makes my teeth hurt.

Also, those are cool new cards up on Ebay now. Marquee huh? Looks pretty good, but the prices are way too high. Going to get some, but hope not to get fleeced. So embarrassed about the prices I have paid in the past. Worth it though. Good to see some pics up, I guess not too many mail days for us lately huh? I have been finding a bunch (before the loss of my cable) of Playoff team tandems etc. for cheap when they are not listed as Henderson cards.

On the Playoff note, does anyone have the Mariners Team Six? I have the "base" one, not holo, not any game used, and was wondering if those were even made? Got a picture? The green looks really good, and the nice thing is that it is different from all of the red ones. Even the Dodgers are red. Oh well, I ramble too much.

One last thing, I like the variation of the eX card. I may have to look into it. Side by side, you can really see it. I have two weeks of stuff to look up now. Maybe I will find something and post it here, if I don't keep getting out bid. ::facepalm::

So is anyone else annoyed by these? [ebay:qjgqay7v]220860126127[/ebay:qjgqay7v] My problem with them is this is not art, its scanning the card and using photoshop to make the colors, I've messed around with regular pictures and done this. If it were his picture I could see maybe, but this is a copyrighted card/photo. My only question is what is this regular card? I can't tell from the off the wall colors and he doesn't list the card info.

He's quite the artist that he can scan a card, press one effect button and print it out.

That's what I mean, no artistic talent involved. Now I have seen him do some You Sketch It cards, that were decent, now that is art. Even if he used another card for reference, he still had to draw it. Using photoshop is not art.

I'm starting to think that the Mariners Team Six relics were never produced. Either that, or the Ichiro collectors are hoarding them all. I haven't even been able to pick up the base (lost out on eBay a few weeks ago), and I'm not sure I've ever seen the Spectrum. I also like the look of the green backgrounds, as it would be nice to have some variation in the set.

Those drive me crazy as well, even crazy when people actually bid on them! At least the guy who creates the custom Tobacco cards, and even the embedded penny cards, put a bit of effort into it. This are just ridiculous!

OK, i recognize the oddball card now. I have it, but couldn't tell what it was with the odd colors. Love the Topps 60 jersey with glittery look.

Yeah, I've got one, picked it up on eBay about 10 years ago. Neat oversized "card" that adds something a little different to the collection. They aren't listed very often, but even when they are, they don't typically sell for much.
