I came across a Star Silver Promo that I have an extra of. I believe it is /400. There are 3 Promos I still need, 91 Home Run, 91 Stellar and 91 All Star. If anyone has one I'd be interested in a swap. Also have dupes of the green and blue that are flooding eBay right now.

Some current stats of mini Rickey sets....anyone have extras for trade?

2005 Sportscasters
Total: 97 (69% of those made)

2005 Donruss Portraits
Total: 31 (55% of those made)

2005 Donruss Throwback Threads Polo Grounds
Total: 16 (36% of those made)

2004 Leaf Exhibits
Total: 22 (25% of those made)

Some of the prices on ebay seem to be getting even higher. That #/38 was a little crazy. I thought it would top out at $60 (which is crazy enough), but over $100 is strange.

I have these for trade, if anyone wants/needs them. After "the box", I don't have much high end stuff anymore. Mostly base cards now. Granted there are about 2000 plus of those, but most aren't worth more than a nickel. Also listed here is my need list. It is mostly cards that I really want to fill gaping holes in my collection, rather than everything I need. And Scott, Mr. Leffer if you prefer, ;) do you have a complete checklist of the card sets you listed for Sportscasters, Exhibits and Polo Grounds? I am curious as to what I am missing. Thanks guys!

Dave, I was updating my cards on PCList and noticed the 1991 Star Silver card #90 should be /2000 but is listed as /1000. Only error I've come across so far.

I'm adding my cards and have a long way to go. I haven't added many of the Topps/OPC stickers as there any tons of variations and I need to figure out what ones I have. Same with some of the Topps * and ** and Donruss Inc and Inc. cards. Do have a question though, the 81 Permagraphics credit card, there are 2 number differences, 150-019 (or close) and 019. I have the latter, which is more rare or are they about the same? Same with the Topps/Donruss cards above.

Im fairly sure the 019 is the rarer but thats just because I only ever had the 150-019 until recently. The inc vs inc. it varys from year to year, some are equal some are fairly difficult, The ones of I have dupes of is the best way for me to tell. Go to the pclist on my collection and search duplicates for those years and see how many I have of them, should kind of answer the question.

Will Allison and Tony Faubion.....anyone ever hear from them? I'm looking thru my PayPal history to try to determine the serial number on my 89 Star Nova set and found their names on my purchase history. Also Matt Farmer, whom I met at Cooperstown, I found that I have purchased from him as well.

I could be wrong but I think those first Star Sets were just shown as 1 of 500 or whatever without individual sets numbered on the case or bag, I'm not positive cause I dont have a number listed for mine either.

Good! That means I won't have to seach thru 10 years of PayPal transactions to find it. I bought my Rickey jacket from Tony Faubion about 5 years ago. I don't remember his eBay name but will try to look it up. Farmer, I met him in Cooperstown and he's a Rickey collector or at least a fan. So my Star promos and such I bought from Will must have been when he sold his collection. I also came across my PayPal transaction for a jigsaw puzzle of Rickey. I forget what year it was made (Yankees uniform) exactly, but I did see that I picked it up for $10 shipped! Anyone else have one (I firgure Dave does). Mine isn't opened and is in a box somewhere. I can grab a picture if anyone likes. And Dave, when it comes to Rickey cards and such I don't think you're ever wrong!

I do have pics of both the box and the puzzle on the site, 1987 Signa Chip Sportsstar Puzzle "Ricky" Henderson although it could be a 1986 the box shows no year at all. and Thank You I try.

Yeah, that's the puzzle. I always wanted a 2nd one to put together and frame, then one in the box. If I ever come across another for $10 I'll jump all over it again.

Still looking for anyone that has the 8x10 of Rickey holding the signed bats in his house. I'll pay for a copy to be made. I have the bat and the seller of mine lost the photo. I want to have it displayed with the bat and photo. Any help?

Are you referring to the Adirondack black Rawlings bat #'d out of 938?
