I had a good surprise from Topps yesterday. After taking their sweet time in making these redemption cards, I end up with a SWEEEEET card. Check this one out...and Ryan, check out the serial # !!!!

Well, I worked really hard this weekend cleaning the basement. I have everything packed up that I can at this early juncture. Now it's nice and tidy down there, plenty of room and time to play with baseball cards. Hopefully...
I came across this and grabbed a pic. The lighting is funny because the first pic you couldn't see anything, so I went for this ray of sunshine that was peeking in a bit...

Seriously though, I have this giant box that holds 4 Rickey items. If I got rid of this, my precious 7-11 cup would just be bouncing around free!
No, but seriously- this is sewious- I would be very open to ridding myself of this large and beautiful Rickey item. Maybe I'll start using the 7-11 cup as my new giant party cup!

Neil, thanks for digging that up. I almost worked on my pending trade with Brad last night, but... then I started moving stuff from the garage to the basement, and then started cleaning the garage. I know I've been completely useless to you guys, but... at least I have been doing something!

So I'm curious to find out if my Desert Shield cards are legit. I always thought they were, and read the articles on them. How do I go about finding if they are? The mad rush of them flooding eBay has me worried, although I've had mine for years.

Which one is worth more? That's the real question. The fakes are probably the rarer of the two.

I kinda thought you only had to worry about the really valuable ones like Nolan Ryan or Griffey Jr.
