Still haven't located my missing cards, but did score a small victory. I found one of my prized collections. Weather is looking to get warmer, so I'll clean out the garage and go thru every box inside and out until I find them.

Well, I just recieved a Topps replacement that I assume is for Tier 1 redemptions. Drew Storen card auto numbered to 600. Um, I dont think so. Will be calling Monday, as I have more redemptions . I realize I may be SOL, but I have to try.

The only problem with that leather 1/1 my customer got is that its chipped on the corners & some on the edge.

I guess thats how the leather cards come out.

He is reluctant for me to list it on ebay due to this. Wants me to sell at a show instead.

I can't stand that Topps gets to pump out several new card sets FOR YEARS while not making good on the Tier 1 Redemptions. Seems like that should be breaking some kind of business law. Totally crap. I won't buy any more redemption card because of that. Topps is the Bottoms. (see what I did there?) Tyson Ross...WTF? <RANT> If they send me a replacement card for my Rickey Tier Ones, I am marching down there to their corporate offices and painting Rickey on each and every one of their cars. </RANT>

If you do, you'll have company in the form of a "Postal" 6'1 240 pound Italian. I'll even bring one of my Henderson bats to help emphasize the point on their cars!

I can definitely relate! I've ignored all redemptions in the past, as it seemed to risky, but I picked up a few of these. I figured I was safe since it was just a G/U and not an auto. Guess I was wrong!

I'll ask a few of my lawyer friends about class-action lawsuits. I'm sure we would easily find many many people who would join in against Topps for these poor-bordering-on-illegal business practices. So sad.

It was nice to see the same photo of Rickey in 2013 Tribute that was used on 2012 Topps Triple Threads. I think they should start using photos of him in a celebrity softball game or in a Pepsi commercial since they seem to be out of photos.

I keep telling myself to stick w/Panini & Leaf as they are at least fresh pics and nicer looking than Topps. I wish I could just bring myself to stop collecting.

I'm leaning toward this 2005 Absolute of Henderson being fake. I've got a /10 and /15 that are jumbo swatches and they are solid swatches. What do you think?
