Can somebody hook me up with one? My account with e-topps is having issues. It won't accept my password, and I can't fix it. Don't want to miss this card while waiting for it to be fixed!

I know I know... but that's how it all starts. First you start thinking 2 copies would be nice to have, but once you have them you realize that 3 copies would be even better! :twisted:



I signed up for eTopps and bought that first Rickey... then later I purchased a real one on ebay for less. The ebay one is in my collection, and the eTopps one... I dunno where that's at. I guess at some warehouse. Someday I'll have to figure out how to get into my account and retrieve it. I think I'll just throw it on ebay though without ever having it sent to me. I think you can get them on ebay now for less than Topps charges to ship them out.

So if you don't get one right away, I would not worry about it!

I was thinking he was a known patch faker... It's weird he would turn down this great opportunity! I was also thinking... Didn't this same guy have a prime fake looking A's patch just like this? Maybe he switched them back... But I think that other one was #/10.

Well, I have every single Rickey card I own in the upstairs portion of my house. The good news is, I found the couple elusive cards I was looking for. The bad news is, my g/f asked my daughter last night when daddy was going to put away his @*$&ing $&!%. So....... good thing I found the ones I needed. :| I was convinced for a while that the box that has 1988-2001 was gone. A while back I had a couple #24's in my hand, and set them on top of the cards in the box, to be filed later. I guess I thought it was the 24 box. When I went searching for the 1999's, I came across the box a couple times, but it was in a bad location, so I just reached in and grabbed those couple of cards on the top and thought the box was full of 24's. THEN, at some point I rearranged my Donruss Classics collection, which is a large thing, and I separated it into two boxes. Of course the card I was after wasn't in the box I could find. *sigh* But it's all good now... except that I need to put them away tonight.

Ah well, selling cards is more work and hassle than it's worth. I still have no money, just now I have less cards.

Larry, I just got my allocation of Rickey eTopps, and it's not good news I "attempted" to order 5, but I was only allocated 1!! Which kind of sucks. I was hoping to take advantage of consolodating shipping, since the first card is $6.95 or something ridiculous like that. Sorry I couldn't help out. There were 749 released, so there should still be plenty hitting eBay shortly.

I hit the PO yesterday and mailed stuff to Larry, Brad and... I think that's actually it from the boards here. Oh right, one BIG box to Ken!

It's weird, I was packing up Ken's box and I got so jealous! Why can't I have a Rickey Christmas in September? Sniffle. Sniffle.



And some great news... I got bumped up to 3/4 time at work. Now I get to work 6 hours a day! I hope I can handle it, I got pretty used to just stopping by for 4 hours real quick and then going to kick it with Renée...

Congrats on the increased work hours, I know you'll be able to get back into the swing of things. But, I am jealous you get to spend some much time with Renee. With school and work now, I deifnitely don't get to see Henry as much as I'd like to!
