Well, I'll start off. If the starting pitchers can throw well and consistently, I think the Rockies will have a great year. However, I just do not see that happening.
Here is my bold 2009 Rockies pitching predictions:
Aaron Cook will win 17 games and lead the Rockies to the playoffs.
Franklin Morales will pitch well throughout the season and keep his walk count down.
The Rockies will find a good consistent 4th and 5th starter in De La Rosa and Morales.
I am thinking that the pitching staff will go like this: Cook, Jimenez, Marquis, Morales, and De La Rosa. Hirsh may get starts though.
Well, I am done with my ramblings on the Rockies pitching, so start discussing the team in general!
