If you saw my other post, I was tormented about opening the case. But I finally decided to do it...here's what I pulled:

1985 Topps #536 Kirby Puckett BGS 9.5
2008 UD Premier #105 Chris Johnson JSY AU /275 BGS 9
09/10 Classics #164 Tyreke Evans AU /499 BGS 9.5 10
05/06 UD #201 Sidney Crosby BGS 9.5

Griffey is the only guy I collect. (My wife's from Seattle) but it was a fun case to break. Would I do it again? If I had the money, yes. It was also cool to pull Chris Johnson and Tyreke Evans.

At least 400 in a couple month.

Don't just flip the cards quick. Most of those are very worth holding on to.

Here's something funny. I'm not sure if I want to collect hockey cause I have a hard time pronouncing the players names.

Being a Caps fan, it's hard to have this Crosby in my PC. What also sucks is, of the 3 hockey products I've opened this year, I have the OPC Premier Stitchings of Crosby and out of ICE, I pulled a GU Jersey. It's like God is trying to punish me. Where's Ovechkin!!!

Just like he's telling me that Santonio Holmes still plays for the Steelers. I've pulled 4 GU Jerseys for Santonio Holmes this year all in Steelers uniform...

What about Shay Hodges (free agent pickup for the Redskins) and Lagarret Blount. I got 3 autos each. And don't forget the 2 Marcus Smith RC (5th WR on the depth chart for the Ravens). Why does everything for me come in clumps.

Although I welcome Crosby because he makes me my money back.

I have to say, I've had my best luck with Baseball so far. All my autos/hits have been for teams I collect. (Nationals, O's, Mariners). And now I have Griffey.

Those 2 cards are the type where you wait until the season start, open it up to Canadian bidders, and add a mandatory tracking in the listing.

I'm new to the hobby, so any advice on how to go about doing so, would be much appreciated. So far, the consensus on hockey is to wait for the season to start.

What about the Tyreke Evans? Should I wait for basketball to start too?

Also, are the Razor cards worth anything? I have that Dennis Raben 7/7 Proof. And I also got a 4 Tanner Scheppers (TS-1, TS-2, TS-3, TS-5). Anyone have TS-4 for trade? I also have Yonder Alonso (YA-5) and Tim Beckham (TB-2)

The NBA starts not too long after the NHL season starts, so if you're waiting to sell the Crosby & Stamkos, you may as well wait to sell the Evans as well.

Ovechkin is usually at home watching the Pens in the playoffs, like he will this year.

:lol: I would take the Blount since he made the Titans roster.

Nice hit with the Griffey. Nice CJ too, although even as a Titans fan and CJ collector I would likely be disappointed with that at a 9 from a pack of RRR.
