But more than that is the perception of dealing with this clinic. That should be enough to stay the hell away. Athletes have got to do a better job of policing their activities and the people that they associate with.

Again, this tendency to make Biogenesis into some operation running out of the trunk of a car just distorts the situation and isn't necessary. Biogenesis has had MANY previous dealings with Major League Baseball and athletes alike as well as has legal, paying customers that go there for very legal reasons. Second, as mentioned in his official statement, Brauns lawyers had the interaction. And I see absolutely nothing wrong with that. Athletes may need to do a better job policing their activities judging with whom they associate, but that's EXACTLY why lawyers are there.

I mean, very literally, Braun was doing exactly that. Protecting himself from whom he associates with with an intermediary in this case a lawyer.

(One of the funniest things? MLB uses intermediaries all the time to solve disputes. Arbitrators, politicians, other lawyers - if only I could sell irony)

tamper - Interfere with (something) to cause damage or make unauthorized alterations

Nothing was interfered with, no alterations.

Only Ryan Braun knows the size and scale of his doping operation.

Chain of custody was also followed using the MLB and MLBPA's joint drug testing agreement (or CBA or whatever). Those were the procedures laid out by WADA, who said the tests were positive themselves.

But Braun-ers can't see past that. Enjoy April and May from the press box.

Biogenesis of America received an F from the Better Business Bureau.

Tests

Multiple

The positive result was triggered by elevated levels of testosterone in Braun's system, the sources told "Outside the Lines." A subsequent, more comprehensive test revealed the testosterone was synthetic -- not produced by Braun's body.

Every individual naturally produces testosterone and a substance called epitestosterone, typically at a ratio of 1-to-1. In Major League Baseball, if the ratio comes in at 4-to-1 or higher during testing, a player is deemed to have tested positive. The sources did not indicate how high above the threshold Braun's sample tested.

To affirm the results and strengthen its case, MLB asked the World Anti-Doping Agency lab in Montreal, which conducts its testing, to perform a secondary test to determine whether the testosterone spike resulted from natural variations within Braun's body or from an artificial source. The test indicated the testosterone was exogenous, meaning it came from outside his body.

Are you referring to them actually TESTING the single sample twice. Because from what I understand only one SAMPLE showed elevated levels of testosterone.

Nothing I believe more than handwritten notes on wide ruled paper.

Sent from my motorolla startac.

When most of the evidence was made like this to be destroyed fast and leave no digital trace it makes more sense. But dont worry Brewers fans just think Braun is super studly that's why he had 3xs the amount of testosterone a normal human has when he was tested.

Brewers fans?? Plural? ;)

I'm not saying anything other than I can handwrite up a document on notebook paper that shows me delivering horse ***** to Rebecca Lobos parents 9 months before her birth. That doesn't mean she's a Minotaur.
