Some things I love:

- A-Rod's nameplate being "A-Rod".
- Aoki nailing Braun with the bat while Braun is just randomly standing on the first base path.
- Braun having blue pee in a bottle that grows limbs.
- Braun walking like a model.
- Braun accosting the handler in his own home while in uniform.
- Braun's pee melting him.
- Braun batting with a blue liquid-filled glass bat.
- Bartolo's weight loss and winning clean pee.
- The Riverdog mascot popping ARod by poking him in the butt.
- The kid running the the field during play to give Braun the bat.
- Giant batteries.

Wait, that's the whole thing. I LOVE IT ALL!
For me, it just goes to show that Pablo Sandoval always gets the ladies.

Yeah, resting is good, because we're not arguing the same sub-topic, and you're confused.

I'm not sure what you think I'm confused about. I've already showed you that evidence shows Braun was a long time liar an cheater. You stated otherwise.

The reason MLB would need Braun to take a deal is to solidify the credibility of Bosch. As good as Braun is, the majority of reports show that MLB wants to get rid of AROD altogether. AROD and his legal team would fight that by discrediting Bosch. There is absolutely no way that Braun after his repeated use and lies would only get 65 games. I've never heard of a suspension that was not 50, 100, or life for PED use. My question is why 65? The answer is tied to Braun helping MLB in some way.

As far as I understand it the 50/100/Life standards are for positive tests. Technically this suspension was not for a positive test, but for other clear evidence of involvement or use and whenever it was going to go down was going to be "rest of season" whether it was 65 games or 45 games. So my earlier "ass hat" assertion was not factually correct, though ass-hatery most certainly occured. And for what its worth, I don't think Braun will get the standing ovation on opening day next year that some think he will get. At least I hope not, because I would truly be embarrassed, more so than I am as a Brewers right fan now

Correct. It has already been confirmed and sourced (Tom Haudricourt sourced Bud Selig, I believe - don't have the link on me) that the actual number of games had nothing to do with the suspension. It was going to be for the rest of the season whether it was 64 or 66 games.

So, basically, your fact-free premise is, because you don't understand why MLB did exactly what it did, Braun is a snitch. ok....

I think I see your point that, if MLB gets to say "See, we got Ryan Braun, we know what we're doing and we're right" it makes their case against A-Rod somehow stronger. That's a pretty big stretch to Braun being a snitch that dimed out a bunch of players. A-Rod will go down based on the facts of what went on a Biogenesis, plain and simple. MLB has a ton of evidence, and they already convinced Braun that they could nail him. Braun's involvement is now over.

But I see why you want to keep making this a bigger deal with regards to Braun; this has been a personal issue with you since the beginning and it must anger you on some deep level that he got away with using the first time. Just try and not let it lead you to making weird, unprovable, assertions. Oh, wait, I forgot; based on your opinions of what happened, there's no other answer. My bad...

Bill Shaikin ✔ @BillShaikin

Hearing Braun approached MLB proactively, rather than being presented with a proposed suspension and starting to deal from there.

Let's make a deal Monty.

Yeah, that's been known. He wanted to make a deal to get the suspension out of the way THIS season (which is why it was 65 games, you know, the REST of this season). He saw or heard about MLB's evidence against him, MLBPA saw or knew of it and said they wouldn't help in an appeal, so Braun just took his medicine (finally). He basically traded in his right to an appeal to avoid a 100 game suspension; him going to MLB before getting their recommendation probably saved him 35 games. Games at least next year at that, which net him more in salary than any game THIS year.

You're reaching to find some larger conspiracy where Braun puts a wire on and goes around talking to other guys about PEDs or something.

This ENTIRE situation is between Braun, MLB and what was found at Biogenesis. You wanting to make it bigger is just you wanting to make Braun look worse and worse. I get it, you hate the guy. But try sticking to the facts, instead of making up things to add to misdoings.

I do dislike Braun very much, always have. I just can't understand why you've singled out my opinion that he squealed. It's not that hard to believe. He's lied to save himself and it seems very possible he talked to again save himself.

Again I could wrong but to dismiss my opinion as some "grassy knoll" theory is just fanboy speak.

If there was a need for MLB to have someone squeal, then I would accept the possibility. But there's no reason for it.

I just prefer people stick to the facts. But if you want to formulate opinions that have no relevance to anything else, that's your right. It just speaks to the fact that, for you, this about Braun, and not the facts.

I think the worst part for Brewers fans is that Braun scared off all future (decent) free agent signings. They can still
get mid level talent but no highly sought free agent would ever want to be associated with Braun in ANY way.
