I know there are a couple other Sandberg collectors on the board. James and I decided that it would be fun to have a thread to discuss all things Ryno. I'm out and about right now, so I'll share a few recent pickups when I get home.

A photo I picked up years ago when I worked for the Cubs. I recently had Ryne sign this for me and he said it was one if his favorites and that he had a copy in his collection as well!

I dont have it in front of me but since Jamie Moyer is on the 1st row all the way to the right I believe this is actually 1986.

For a little background info, the Cubs would hold an on field dinner every year called Cubs Care where tents were put up and dinner would be served at a hundred bucks a plate. I remember a few years it rained which didnt make many people happy but when it didnt rain it was actually a pretty fun evening. Since I worked for the team I actually had to work on these nights but still got to enjoy the event.

Here's a recent pickup - 1993 Finest Refractor. The centering isn't great, but the price is right. I can at least say I own one.

After seeing some suggestions on this board, I picked up 10 of these Detolf cases from Ikea, which is a 6-hour drive away, but it's all worth it. The cases look awesome. I still have three left to load.
