That's awesome man. Congrats. Quite the impressive time.

Thanks! I have to give you some props. I've been doing 3 miles just about everyday and I've done 4 miles once. To do 6.3 is damn impressive, and sounds exhausting.

I was running about 3-4 miles a day before but my knee and joints bothered me a bit so I switched to the elliptical since it's much easier on those. Since then, my knee and joints have felt better and I'm able to work out a lot harder and longer than on the treadmill. I plan to get back to the treadmill sometime soon though so I can build up for a 5k sometime.

Hey guys,

I'm pretty excited about a couple of deals (one very good, the other good) I picked up on eBay. Purchased a lot of 37 1998 Bowman autographs for $125 + shipping ($6). Included in the lot are:

  • Adrian Beltre card 1
  • Ricky Ledee card 3
  • David Ortiz card 4
  • Fernando Tatis card 5
  • Mel Rosario card 7
  • Cole Liniak card 8
  • AJ Hinch card 9
  • Jose Cruz Jr card 11
  • Richard Hindalgo card 12
  • 2 Geoff Jenkins card 13
  • Richie Sexson card 15
  • Mike Lowell card 21
  • 2 Chad Green card 23
  • Russell Branyan card 25
  • Jacque Jones card 28
  • Jared Sandberg card 29
  • Mike Stoner card 31
  • Anthony Sanders card 35
  • Rafael Medina card 36
  • Mike Kinkade card 38
  • Eric Milton card 44
  • Luis Ordaz card 47
  • Jacob Cruz card 50
  • Chad Hermansen card 53
  • Roy Halladay card 54
  • Eric Chavez card 55
  • Juan Encarnacion card 57
  • Paul Wilder card 58
  • Aramis Ramirez card 59
  • Todd Dunwoody card 61
  • Paul Konerko card 62
  • 2 Jeff Abbott card 63
  • Derrek Lee card 69
  • Ramon Hernandez card 70

It has most of the big autographs from the set. I'm going to probably keep the Lee and Ramirez cards (Cubs collection) and move the rest. Halladay is the big dog, but the Ortiz, Konerko, and Beltre cards are pretty darned strong too. Plus, there are a number of other players who had solid MLB careers in the lot that I can get a couple bucks here and there for. I'll show them off when they come in.

As for the other deal, the same seller had a nice lot of 3 Ernie Banks autos, all on-card 1990's issues. The key card is a 1997 Donruss Signatures Notable Nicknames card with the Mr. Cub inscription. That's a keeper. I also will receive a Banks 1998 Donruss Significant Signatures auto and a 1999 Fleer SI Greats auto. I'm going to move the other two.

Just figured I'd share some pickups. Thanks.

Good afternoon..

I recently moved my treadmill to the garage so I could use it without making the house shake.. and I actually got on it today for about 20 min.. for an old man that's a little out of shape, I'll take it..
my wieght elevated back up to where I was when we did the wight loss contest last year..

I am making some chili with some stew beef pieces cut up instead of hamburger..

Hope everyone has a great day!

Good Afternoon Gents!!! Holy CRAP it has been a physically busy week!!! We have the kitchen just about finished as well as the bedroom painting done. We move all our stuff in tomorrow and after that will be painting the living room, followed by installing the wainscoting and finishing off with crown molding. Then we can get started on the family room after all that haha! I have a couple pictures of the kitchen that I will post in a few :)

I hope everyone is having a great weekend so far!

Thanks guys!!! Okay...here are a few pictures. Nothing too fancy but new all the same :) The front of our home as well as the before pic of the kitchen is from the MLS site. I am waiting until a beautiful day outside to take one of my own and we will have our own pics once the kitchen is finished as well:
