Updated pic of the start of the kitchen. The cupboards are sanded and primed and the finished look will be a glossy white with colored glass knobs and concealed hinges:

Updated pic of the new color of the kitchen. This is where our 25 cubic foot fridge with french doors and a pull out drawer freezer was installed yesterday. The torn down cupboard was to the left of what you see here:

Last one for now...a present from Jen :)

I hope to have a few more to share in the upcoming weeks :)

Alex, awesome to see the new home!

I like the green color and the barbecue is amazing! (By the way, I prefer my steaks medium-well with lots of A-1 sauce)

Dave(69) - Thanks man! Yeah, the kitchen was one of the top things we looked for in a home so we feel good about this one. It will open up further over the next few years but at least the change of color and such gives it a newer feel :)

Jesse - I know all about waiting for trains...SODO is swamped with them.

Taylor - Figured you would like that grill ;) Thanks man!

Eric - Thanks man! I'm a BIG fan of green and this one really glows in a not so obnoxious way :) Jen has been doing all the interior decorating down to the colors and all so it is a GREAT thing we share same tastes haha!

Andrew - Haha thanks so much dude! I'm dead serious when I say you have a place to stay if you two make your way up north :) I will cook any meal on demand too

Here are the same pics from the first posted as they are on page 3 depending on your post count setup:

The front of our home as well as the before pic of the kitchen is from the MLS site. I am waiting until a beautiful day outside to take one of my own and we will have our own pics once the kitchen is finished as well:

Before pics of the cupboard doors with hardware off, sanded as well as a cupboard I tore out to fit the new fridge that was installed yesterday:

Frenchie - Thanks so very much man! A HUGE CONGRATS to your Topps contest win on the insert contest. They might as well hire you by this point haha!

Dave(69) - More like a Sounders green but in a better way ;)

Painting's a real pain in the ass, isnt it? LOL

Seriously! You would think painting over white would be easy haha! They were a glossy white so we had to de-gloss them, scrub them with TSP followed by water. PAIN IN THE ASS! Although, using a Mr. Clean eraser mop works WONDERS on the quick factor ;)

oh, i didnt know they made an eraser MOP. ive used the eraser sponge, and it works quite well

Yeah we used the sponge too for about 1/4 of the walls until all the eraser came off. Went to replace them and was searching for a new mop anyways and found that. My shoulders and back are feeling a bit better than the beginning of the week for sure!
