Any luck sorting through your SW collection Andrew?

Morning Alex.

Well, I kept finding boxes of figures that I had forgotten about. I have discovered that most of them are too bit-chin' to sell.

I found a few items from the 90's that may get me $10-20 each, so going to make some calls and see if I can get some deals done. The individual figures that I would be willing to sell aren't worth much individually. May put together lots and try to get rid of them that way.

Would be awesome to have a huge room with display cases for the nicer figures.

Also dug out my original vintage stuff. Only have about a dozen original figures, all out of their packaging and played with, but still awesome. Going to find a way to at least display those ones.

Maybe I can put them in the display cabinet in the living room and make Chris ever so happy with my decision! :p

I know that many collectors on FCB favor the glass case from Ikea for displaing their stuff. Do you have one of those nearby in HB?

And that doesn't even count all my supercool Star Trek figures! Those are not for sale, no matter what Chris says!

nice, ive got some vintage star wars figures from when i was a kid. with a 3cpo carrying case.

Man, I always wanted that and the Vader case, too.

We were pretty poor growing up, so I only got a few figures back then. I had a landspeeder, but no idea what happened to it.

My best friend's family had money and he had just about every Star Wars figure, vehicle, playset made. I used to use his house as a lending library for toys. :p

We have one pretty nearby. No room for any more furniture right now, but that is an idea for sure.

Of course, I would need about a dozen of those to display the best ones.

Morning, folks. Spending the weekend with the family, first time in 6 weeks thanks to my Rotating work schedule.

Had a 2 box Topps Mini break last night. Nothing major, dupes of three rookies: Harper, Darvish and Cespedes. No blacks, no plates, 2 common relics.

Had this happen though, cool moment:

ALEXS64 - When you see this can you post a picture of your display case for Andrew?

I am curious to see what your carrying case looks like. Is it the one where each spot is labeled for specific figures?

Speaking of Star Wars, I tried (and failed) to use my Jedi powers yesterday.

We were playing fetch with Crazy Jack in the backyard when I launched one of his toys over the fence into the yard of the mean lady next door. I stealthily climbed up on a chair to look over the fence to see if I could locate it in her yard. It wasn't far, so I leaned down with a rake to drag it back. I then dropped the rake. I brought over a claw garden tool thing to retrieve the rake (and then, hopefully, the toy). The neighbor is older and I was counting on her poor hearing. The rake was halfway up the wall when her yappy little dog started barking at me through the window. I waved my hand, Jedi-like and told Jakey (yappy dog's name) that "Nothing is happening here, go away" in a spooky, Jedi voice.

I got the rake back over on our side and went for the toy. I nearly had the toy hooked on the claw-thing when the lady yelled out her window, "What are you doing?" I said I was trying to get a dog toy. She told me to hurry up and stay out of her yard. Technically, I wasn't in her yard, but I can kinda see where she was coming from.

No, not my finest hour, but, before anyone suggests that I should have just gone over to her front door at the start, I will tell you that she doesn't answer her door and threatens to call the police if anyone does. (I know this from past experience.) And, yes, it was worth it, as the toy was pretty new and cost $7.99, plus tax.

That is awesome, Ken. Same boat here. I can remember where and when each vintage figure was purchased.
