Is Score still considered a low end brand? Or has it been beefed up from days past?

definitely still low end except for those RC Buy Back auto's

Is there anything worth actually pulling in Score minus the buy back autos? From a money standpoint. Obviously for set collectors and TTM guys it's probably a gold mine.

there are some cool inserts like the Net Cam and Sudden Death but money wise I would say just the Buy Backs. as a player collector though I love the set and the fact that there are not 50 different MAF cards to chase like Certified.

I can imagine it gets frustrating having several different cards from the same set to chase after. See, if I start a player collection I'm not one of those people that has to have literally every single card of my player that's ever been made. Or every variant from each new set. I don't even like base and low end insert cards. They don't really do anything for me and I'd rather just not waste the space with them. I'm more of a GU/auto kind of guy. I want the nice cards. I just don't have the money for them.

the different variations are usually not as bad as Certified but luckily I never chase the 1/1's or the ridiculously amazing patches because I know I will never have a shot at them.

I'm in the same boat. That's the catch 22 for me when it comes to collecting cards. I want to collect all the cards I can't afford (i.e. patches, autos, game used, high end). Basically when I do have money to collect all I can really afford is the base and inserts and if I want anything else I can maybe get a low end gu auto and that's about it for a month or two. The joys of being poor. :)

I've pulled 14 Hot Rookies so far.
From what I have seen there are shortprinted ones, anyone know who they are?

Numbers 551-559 are all shortprinted, with 559 being Taylor Hall.

It will still be interesting to see what it goes for, $$$$ wise, but the Future Superstar card would have been the bomb.
