glad i could help you out with your collection.. By the way, that Jordy was from a UD redemption I pulled.. surprised I got it back so quick..

I did have a ton of fun scanning everything and getting it into all the "right spots" a bit time consuming but that is OK with me! Again, everything is much appreciated and I'm happy to share what I got!
I didn't realize the Nelson was a UD Redemption nothing was spoken of that in the Beckett. Glad you did get it back really quickly though! And now it sits in my hot little hands!

I also just got a 2-lot of Matt Hasselbeck's 1998 Collector's Edge 1st Place RC for $11 and one turned out to be a 50 point parallel!!! There was no mention of it and it turned out to be a nice find for me!!!

That is EXACTLY what I thought! I've gone from NO rookies to 2 of the tougher 50pt parallels and one standard RC in NO time at all! VERY psyched!

They don't seem to show up very often, do they? I hate the scan, I didn't remove the card out of the top-loader and so it looks all scratched up when it isn't! I'll get around to redoing it eventually!

Yes, some of us are quite the fanatic nuts of certain teams, eh? I was reading a blog on the baseball thread asking what kind of a collector you were and someone had written that they couldn't stand paying homage to one person, except maybe Griffey. Well, I am the exact opposite and will happily pay homage to anyone in a Seattle Uni! Whether it's Griffey, Ichiro or the bat boy, ya know!? Love for the team!

I only got a couple cards in on Saturday, but nice ones indeed!

Terence Newman 2004 Leaf Certified Materials Mirror Blue Materials #'d 03/50--- I won this for $.54+$2.50 S/H! I couldn't argue with that!

Matt Hasselbeck 2006 Threads Gridiron Kings Platinum #'d 18/25--- SECOND ONE! Won this one for a WHOPPING $.25!!!!! Plus like $2.99 S/H!

Matt Hasselbeck 2006 Topps DPP Chrome Gold #'d 11/25- Won for $6.00 + FREE S/H which made me VERY happy for a TOUGH card to find! BUT THEN I open it, and it is ONLY in a penny sleeve! NO TOP LOADER, NO HARD CASE, NO CARDBOARD AROUND IT! NOTHING! OH I am so peeved at the guy I almost left him a negative for his stupidity. But I have decided to just not leave feedback at all. Luckily for him AND ME it's still razor mint! I love the look of it!

Why thank you! I love the '06 and '07 Topps DPP sets very much so! Any idea whether they are doing an '08 set or did it get dropped? I haven't seen anything that I'm aware of! Again, I just got very lucky that the knucklehead that thought it was OK to just have it in a penny sleeve didn't end up having the card get all bent up! I don't see too many of the chrome variations of the DPP, let ALONE a Chrome-Gold #/25! I really thought this would go higher than $6!
And I LOVE the Red Refractors too! I like the black refractors more for the look but the red is the obvious lower S/N. Really cool that I have been able to pick up 2 of his normal card and 3 of his Pro Bowl card!
I do hope that Hasselbeck comes back and can play next year. I keep hearing rumors of trade or retirement, anyone else hear anything? I hope he doesn't, but I know his back is pretty messed up!

'07 Topps DPP is the last year of that product and '08 had a similar product in Progression.....wasn't a huge fan of it.....not sure if they are going to do that again....was hoping they would bring back DPP......but who knows......and I agree with you on the black refractors.....they are sweet looking.......as far as Hasselbeck.....I've heard rumors that the Seahawks are in love with Sanchez......he'd benefit tremendously from learning from a guy like Hasselbeck......I think Hass' has one good year left in him......perfect time for the 'hawks to groom Sanchez.......and enough time for Sanchez to learn the offense and learn from Hasselbeck.

I know Progression, didn't realize it was an off-shoot of the DPP set. Talk about a set-back! Progression is OK, but nothing compared to what DPP looks like!
I am happy to hear the rumors you're hearing! Sanchez, I don't know much about him, do you think he'll be good enough to lead the Seahawks anywhere at all? Lord knows the QB has typically been the Seahawks downfall, like picking up Charlie Frye from the Browns when we COULD HAVE HAD Derek Anderson! OH MAN!

some more great pickups.....and as for Sanchez....I think he could be a good fit for the 'hawks....with TJ there and Jon Carlson....he's used to throwing to tall WR that can stretch the field....and big TE's.....I think it would be in the best interest of Seattle to grab Sanchez.
