some more great pickups.....and as for Sanchez....I think he could be a good fit for the 'hawks....with TJ there and Jon Carlson....he's used to throwing to tall WR that can stretch the field....and big TE's.....I think it would be in the best interest of Seattle to grab Sanchez.

GOD I hope you're right! There isn't much bad talk Sanchez, is there? I know that Stafford seems to have gone way down on the love-fest-list, but I haven't heard much either way on him.... Any thoughts there?

2006 Upper Deck UD Exclusive Silver parallel #'d 49/50- Clean and mint and I have been told these are really tough to come by!

2007 Finest Blue Refractor #'d 141/299- again, Finest cards that don't show up too often and look SO nice!

I got just one card in the mail today, but WHAT a card and WHAT a story!

I was bidding on this on Ebay, the seller has just 17 feedback. I was winning it for quite a while at my max bid of $6. Well, then it got outbid on by someone w/ low feedback (around 100 or so) but he had like 65% or more of bid history with this newbie! SO, the card got bid up to $17 and everyone realized it was a legit shill bid.
I was pissed but figured maybe he would relist it. TURNS OUT he does a second chance offer with me for my ORIGINAL $6 bid! OH MAN! I knew he was a ****** for the intentional shill bid, but screw it; if I can get it for $6, I'll take the chance! SURE ENOUGH, I got it today:

Thanks, I was glad I caught on too, and yes, has to be hands-down the best $6 card EVER! Even if no one else likes Hasselbeck, still the best $6 card EVER!

nice Carlosn slab...even if he is pictured in a ND uni ....Ultimate has to be the worst product to open.....but best looking set to buy cheap.....I'll let others spend their money on the wax and buy singles from them for cheap.....great looking stuff....but if you don't hit a nice low numbered patch or rookie auto....UD is making a killing off of you.

And you wouldn't believe me if I told you I won that Ultimate for a whopping .99 + 3.00 S/H! So, I agree! I have heard Ultimate is crap to buy in box but has very decent singles! I would rather do the same. PLUS, I have never had good luck ripping wax. Just bad karma I suppose!

lol....I love high grade slabs too....and I believe you on the price of that Ultimate.....you could put together a nice collection of singles from that set buy taking the money you would spend on a box and go after the cards that you want.....high end is bad for me too....I bought a box of National Treasures in 06.....looked at completed auctions while I was listing my "kick in the nuts" and saw that I could have bought a Bush, Leinart, and a White RC dual patch auto rookie and still had some cash left over

Hey, why are you laughing about David Kirtman??? :lol: :lol: Sadly I didn't even know anything about him until I got the card of his. Got it in a lot from Ebay for $.99 so I can't complain!
I love the color refractors too, but when I bought the black X-Fractor there was no mention of the dreaded "Refractor Line" and you can clearly see it in the scan! Really upsets me, but oh well!
I am personally loving that Upper Deck Exclusives Vintage. Not because it's #'d 10/10, I just love the look of it. Really has that sort of Black/White Vintage look without being truly vintage.... if that makes any sense what-so-ever. Plus I love that shot of him running out from the locker room, I think it's one of the better shots of him. Not sure why, just loving that card!

He's not laughing, Kirtman is one of many USC alums. Drafted in 2006, played special teams in 2007, was cut in 2008, floated around a couple of practice squads, and the hawks resigned him in 2009. He is also a Washington native I believe.

I'm gonna have to get one of those Hasselbeck Longevity Blacks, I have Burleson, Jones, Carlson, Adams, and Schmitt

I have both the Elements and the Standard Longevity Blacks /25 of Hasselbeck. I'd love to get my hands on a John Carlson, I think he has a LOT of potential!
