its a quick opinion, someone looks at the auction from psa and will judge from there if its real or not. You'll get something back along the lines of Likely authentic or Likely not authenticboomo said:hofautos said:post the ruth on ebay (you can cancel afterwards), and get a psa/dna quick opinion for $7 dollars.
if it passes, get it slabbed, and made the deal of the century.
$7 well spent.
are you saying you can post a card on ebay, and psa will look at the pic in the auction and cert it for 7.00?
please clarify this as i have never heard of this. thanks

Topnotchsy said:I would not trust a "quick opinion" on eBay for a deal that large. PSA makes no guarantees that a "likely authentic" quick opinion will translate to an autograph being considered authentic when sent in.

BUT - remember that one day you'll have a Ruth auto that will have story to it. Do you wanna get that dual one day and know that you gave away a very rare button for something you knew you'd have a dupe of.
Keep the button (or sell it) but DON'T trade it.

You would just "consdier" it if it was in a psa/dna slab?????
I don't know what that button cost, but I wouldn't think twice, and would find it difficult to believe that many would pay $3000 for it, which is what you could reasonably expect to sell the RUth for in a PSA/DNA slab for that quality..
