I like inscriptions. I actually prefer them and hold off on certain autographs if they don't have one. Some of my favorite cuts have longer inscriptions. It makes it more personal, even if it wasn't to you.

One of my favorite Heritage autos. The 1957 Jerry Snyder card actually pictured Ed Fitz Gerald. Snyder signed every auto for 2006 Heritage this way.

I love getting inscriptions on baseballs I get signed when I go to the local Tri Star shows:

I am considering getting a Frank Thomas ball signed with "Big Hurt" since he's going to be at the January show.

I was going to have Delmonico inscribe his autograph with "Tornado Warning" but he wasn't using his crutches and I didn't want to bother him anymore.
