That's the name that I immediately noticed missing from the top 20. He was hyped big time a few years ago...Which leads me the nitpicking about Tallion's B+ grade. He is a high school arm who hasn't thrown a pitch in professional ball. Let's let him face a few A ball batters before we pronounce him the second coming of Nolan Ryan/Strassburg/David Clyde.Huffamaniac said:Alderson does not even make the top 20. Boy has he fallen

He gave him a B+ grade, stated that it was a conservative grade and made him the top prospect in the system. So what's the problem?aminors said:SamHell said:That's the name that I immediately noticed missing from the top 20. Based on what we know about Taillon, he's better than any other prospect the Pirates have. Upper 90s heat with excellent control and three secondary offerings (two-seamer with lots of bite, circle change, and the "Best curveball in his draft class) , two of which could be plus or better pitches? Sounds like a B+ or better to me.

Sounds like a pretty good grade for a high school arm in a system with almost zero success in developing pitching.
