Wow, Eric Hurley's already down to #20.
Each year's new prospect crop always pushes down the previous years' studs.
Remember when Thomas Diamond was among the Rangers' top prospects? Now he's battling back from Tommy John surgery.
I'm glad the Rangers' system is so stacked, but I'd rather have Michael Young than Evis Andrus, and I'm happy with Kinsler at 2nd and Chris Davis at 1st.
And 17 of the top 24 prospects are pitchers! Finally some hope for Texas.

Yeah, I'm a fan of pitching heavy systems.

1. Not all of them will pan out.
2. If more than needed do, you have a serious trading piece that teams will pay up for. Much more so than a hitter.

A few comments I like alot:
2) Justin Smoak, 1B, Grade A-: I like him better than Alonso and Hosmer, and frankly I can’t believe the Rangers got him.5) Taylor Teagarden, C, Grade B: Excellent glove with power, could hit anywhere from .230 to .280 though.
8) Michael Main, RHP, Grade B: Impressive Midwest League performance, and if instructional league reports are accurate he is primed for a huge breakout

I agree have no idea how Smoak slide other than fear of signing, but comman to much talent. Teagarden, well Iam a big fan, and 3rd Main, I have a TON invested!! :D

It's nice to see my fave AL team with so many promising pitching prospects. Plus, from the 4 BDP packs I opened (I've so gotten away from the prospecting game this year) I pulled a Derek Holland refractor auto. So that's my hold for the year.

I agree with Smoak being a better prospect than Alonso but I have to disagree with him being better than Hosmer (I think they are somewhat close but Hosmer has a higher ceiling). I do love how the Rangers have such a stacked group of young talent & I believe they are on track to do exactly what the Rays just accomplished! (I'll always root for a Texas team, even if it's not my hometown Astros)! :D

This is one freaking deep system. I honestly can't believe Sickels went that high on Andrus.

I do agree on Smoak. I think Feliz is too young for a straight A grade. A- at the worst though.
