That's not a complete set, it's just a bunch of cut autos from the same set.

No Cap Anson?

Without Anson, I can't call that the best set ever the world has ever seen, hands down.

It goes into the not a bad job category for me.

$2600 ea. asking price is a bit high for cuts...

Didnt see any tough sigs.....
They should have a Waddell, Plank, Joss, King Kelly, Delehanty, Mathewson, J.Jackson etc. in that set....
Then Id consider it the best ever! :)

PS The 1903 E107 set would blow that away!

The Maris says Population: 3, Population higher: 5...What does that mean? There's three total cards, but 5 of them graded higher?

It means there are three cards in that grade and five that have graded higher.

wasn't that the set where most of the high dollar cuts were fake?

It still shocks me to see the print run on those. 113 Big Train cuts in the same set? Did UD blow their *** on that one, or what?

If anyone was active on the PSA Registry, they probably remember the Museum of Sports History (MOSH) sets. He has some incredible accumulations, such as this one. It looks like it has been downgraded quite a bit. It used to be 95% 10s. At one point it had a Grimes #10/18 PSA 10, which I used to own raw, so I thought that was kind of neat.

Still, sets like this were so exciting back then. I used to scour ebay 10 times a day when it came out, compiling the cuts checklist and monitoring pricing. I used to own 4 of them, but at a certain point prices exploded and I was out of the running and sold out, although I still own a Roush, a Marquard, and a Coveleski. Seeing them again makes me wonder how many more of the key sigs are circulating.
