Got these pics from twitter. Still waiting to be signed. They look awesome! Beats the hell out of Topps Five Star and sure puts pressure on National Treasures. These are just fantastic. Murray, Daulton then a collage of Green Jones Dalton Locker Murray & Smith.

Pathetic effort by UD to not have that product ready by mid March

Upper Deck spokesman on twitter stated that most of the patches are multi-color and logos. Crazy patches this year.

It is, but UD has put out 3 products while holding an exclusive license hostage.

They are the only ones who can make licensed NCAA cards and waste the license. They had very little plans to use it even in 2010 right before their NFL license was taken away. You would think in their second year of having it they could do better than 3 products before mid March (and 2 before mid February).

Totally agree Brad. I will give UD credit for some moments of greatness. However, it never felt like UD totally embraced the concept if making collegiate cards. Of course if the collegiate scene exploded UD would be all about the cash cow.

As crazy as it may read, I think some of UD's best collegiate designs came before the exclusive license.

I think they're starting to embrace that now, because Collegiate Legends is definitely tailored to the lore of college football instead of taking an NFL product and printing it up in collegiate uniform.

You could be right. Of course I have not paid much attention to the product since Peyton is not in it. Fortunately 2012 UD Football will fill the void with a Smokey manu-patch card. #heyudpleaseincludepeytonmanninginanothercollegiateset

UD has been on a no redemption kick lately, with that said, Im ok with them being a little late rather than just dump
a product with 40% redemptions out like Panini.

I recall them saying that they can only use veteran NFL players in up to two releases a year because of licensing issues, so they can't put Peyton in everything. When Peyton eventually retires, I'd expect to see him in every single product, at least as a base card if nothing else.

yeah i wonder how many redemptions won't be fulfilled in this product since UD is gonna be the next Fleer...won't accept phone calls, new redemptions are worthless now...at least Panini fulfills them...UD ignores it's customers...

I cannot remember the specifics. Peyton was in 5 pack issued products under the 2010 umbrella if you include the Sport Royalty autograph.

Only game in town for NCAA? What about Press Pass?
