I am well aware of when it was derailed. I am saying though, NOW, that it needs to cease or atleast go to some other form of media OTHER than this particular thread as it is a preview thread and I really don't want to have to lock it down. I think this product is a hack-job money grab.

Is that going to stop BG from making it? Obviously not since its already made.

I missed out on the Crusade craze but might take a shot at these. If you dont like the remake idea, dont buy it. Not sure why people that dont like this dont just shut up and stay out of it. If you think its a hack or a copy job, that fine. You are entitled to your opinion. Why you feel the need to talk **** about someone's work makes you sound like a bitch. If you dont like it, fine. This isnt asking for your opinion, this was to give a preview of something being made whether you like it or not.

Topps Embossed basketball came out when I was 14 and appealed to me at that time and whenever I see them it takes me back to a better time when I was collecting before junk like you produce came out.

Is it a new concept, no. Last time they did a new concept it came out looking like junk. So maybe it's good to just not take any more risks.

That being said, I never understood the desire for Crusades. I was in college when they came out which was my hiatus in collecting. They look ok but they're nothing like Topps Embossed which was awesome.

Might I implore you to read the post right above yours? I point out that the ONLY similarity is design. Surely concept is not only = design?

I appeciate your youth and the fond memories Embossed gave you.
UNFORTUNATELY, it was products like that which DESTROYED the industry throughout the 1990's...
Factory costs of $60+ going down to $10 and wiping out millions of dollars in market value/investment.

Also, if a collector wanted prospects/rookies/etc using that technology my Valiant is the only choice..

Use your right not to support a product and dont buy Valiant.
However, if you are not participating in productive nor respectful manner, why nbot find another thread to pollute?

If other companies listened to their customers like BG listens to his, there wouldnt be ANY bitching about Topps, UD or anything else. EVERY thread or PM directed at him gets answered. HE listens to his customers and makes an effort to give them what they want. There are customers that do not belong to these boards that might not have as loud of a voice as those here do, but he's making an effort. please explain how another company is doing an equal or better of a job than Leaf is of dealing with customers and the market?

You gotta take the bad with the good. If Chas' opinion means so little, why are you so worried about it? The passive-aggressive tone in the post you made saying you "could" say Chas is hiding behind his screen, etc, really says more about your agenda than anything. Defending your product is one thing, but trying to tip-toe the line around being personal in your attacks is pathetic. If you believe in your product, let it speak for itself as far as the naysayers go. You want opinions? Get opinions, but if you want FEEDBACK - expect negatives.

You've had this same issues since the first day you posted here, and you know you do. It's the reason why you've "left" multiple times. You can't separate "business" from "personal", and it's all fine and good to defend against personal attacks -- but the problem is you get into these back and forth things that isn't going to change that person's mind.
